Excellent work on those structures. My only real point of criticism is that the cobbled stone is too dark and contrasted; I'd redo that to match the look of the original stone.

This looks very good. I love the fact that you got new horse models, might try that also. I like the new Rohan castle but I prefered the original tone of the colors. That mill looks fantastic tho.
Ohh and those Rohan Soldiers, I smell LOTRO refference there.

I will be honest and say why do I have a feeling this whole cancellation announcement was just a way to get a bunch of the mods hype back? It would explain the whole OH because we thought their weren't people watching it.
Either way, hope it succeeds.

Agreed. Don't hold your audience hostage by telling them the mod's cancelled due to lack of 'attention', then start it back up as a 'last chance'. If people don't give you more 'attention', will you cancel again?

We want to present community BETA3 with two factions and 1 map for multiplayer tournament. If there'll be enough players who'll likes new gameplay style (like Generals,SC2) - we'll contunue mod. If all will be ok,we'll try to make fast other factions. But we have already canceled bfme1 gameplay style and camping. It takes a lot of our free time.

Don't mod for the fans, mod for yourself.

If you'll stay on the course, I could help with the mapping. I've been getting back into it recently, so all I need to do is figure out how mods work and not get confused.

One off note: I like how people refer to RC Mod as an example of mod that has passed through a lot of time. I could say we are indeed a living lesson on how to commit yourself and actually stay on course even after all these years. Honestly, it was not easy, heck when real-life kicked in for me and RG, I was one stap away from leaving, there were moments I thought another release was impossible, the lack of time was unbearable, and I found out that motivation alone was not enough, not when we were 2 guys on such a high-scale mod with so many features, maybe 2 of the best but still 2(two). RG is indeed working fast and has a brilliant mind ( me? not that much) and he wants to clean like anything that EA left ugly behind, but continuous disruptions affects him as anybody.
We will continue to work on the mod, atm we have just 1 faction and that one is still unfinished but we will, one day, maybe after 10 years, when BFME will be just for the melancolycs, finish it with all 9 factions.
So now I feel obliged to compare your mod with RC MOD and maybe give you some advice why you SHOULD continue.
Now I will be honest with you, you deffinetlly stirred something in the BFME community with this announcement. As a completation as what Elric said, you not only brought attention to your mod but the whole mods in the field (Yeah, RC mod got few new followers and some extra visits and downloads). If you indeed mod for the fans, keep them busy. If you can't keep them busy, well, you might want to change some things. Either your mentality or your workflow. As an example, our moddb page was dead for 3 years. Then we make a release, we stay in top 15 for about 2 weeks cause we got features on the main MODDB page. We never got in top 100 Moddb mods, trust me, that means a lot, your community is backing you up very good. Now after 3 months we are back from where we started. We don't panic, this is the way things go. Maybe after 1 year, we will release something, people play and enjoy and then leave again. Each new release we try to come up with new features to get new players, and we do but the change is not immense. Also there is a shared community base, the same players that play our mod are mostly the same that play Edain,Tactics,SEE,etc. Comparing to Edain is futile: large team, very commited and united, very long history; you simply can't beat that by snaping fingers.
And I agree with Ruddy, making Bfme1/Bfme2 consumes a lot of time, the focus should be on just one. Also comes with a loss of balacing issues.
But it's your mod afterall and you can do whatever you please, whatever your reasons are to cancel it. But you should consider yourself lucky having such "a team" to work with.
