Oh... So you used SweetFX for those graphic alterations, here goes me thinking you actually decompiled the shaders ._.
For the ppl interested in it, unless i'm mistaken, its here:
That was our little secret.
But there are a lot of other improvements 8)

Oe, fancy
Although I suppose you can't do much with them, except change how things go, its not like you can suddenly add more input textures or whatever, unless ea made it that flexible, which i highly doubt
I'd love to see those shaders though, Maybe i can learn a thing or two from em... (Or not, depends on how fancy ea was... which... isn't really saying much on their part )
Oh but yes, the mod looks nice so far, keep up the good work, and maybe i'll find time to play it soon

It looks way to bright and sunny for the liking of Orcs and Trolls.

I like it, but just to finish it, it'd have been nice to fade the wood of the tower into the hay of the roof a little.

Is there a way I can disable the new shaders? I hate to ask this because clearly you've put a lot of hard work in making your mod look great, but my decrepit brick of a computer simply can't run the game and associated new graphics without the most extreme of lag.

Geez all mods going bfme1 style? It looks very nice from a modding point of view, as does edain's 4.0, but it makes the gameplay quite boring. Given the size of bfme2+rotwk communities in comparison to bfme1 I'd be interested to see what people end up saying

I disagree, playing the BFME 1 system with BFME 2 graphics is a dream come true. I also strongly believe that most BFME2 players love the new style Edain mod has taken given the fact how popular the mod has become since they announced the new (old) system. They even got the fourth place of top 100 best mods in moddb, and that never happened when they still used the BFME 2 gameplay .

The people who I see everyday, which is the majorty of the player base(gameranger) hate bfme1 style, for the same reason as me. And if you look at the rotwk room names, youll find those hosting Edain rooms have dropped quite a lot. I cant speak for people who solely use mods for single player/skirmish etc, perhaps theres heaps of them, but I cant comment because I simply dont know

Very well done to you Ruudy & your team for a fantastic mod! Now that I can play it I haven't been able to put it down, its just like a great BFME I mod with useful parts of ROTWK. What your doing with Rohan looks smashing as well and I'm very excited to play them in the next update.
