Hello!

I'm pleased to make this big announcement:

Blitzkrieg II and The Finest Hour have merged!

The merger has produced many benefits. The greatest of which being the introduction of the TFH team's excellent buildings into Blitz II. The art will also be done quicker and Japan, and the requisite accompanying naval warfare, is once again a very real possibility for Blitz II:TFH's future.

This forum and TFH's will still be active for sure. TFH's site will be updated with the latest news from Blitz II:TFH. Questions, suggestions, whatever about the mod can still be posted on our forums, but also at Derelict Studios' forum.

Wow, good to see you got along after all. I wish the two-teams-now-one the best of luck, and I'm interested to see what new stuff this merger will bring forth. :p

I've tried Blitzkrieg 2...only 3 sides...not that I have anything to say negative with the TC, but I feel that something is lacking on it...

With this merger, I hope you guys will not make the US and UK into one side and pls don't ditch Japan and Australia, pls?

For the next release, both America and the UK will remain a single side known as "Allies". While it is not likely it will change, it is planned that both sides will be radically different (in it's current configuration), starting as soon as this release. I also wish to point out that the UK and US already are quie diverse, different fighters, attack airplanes, heavy tanks, superheavy tanks (in R3).

Australia will be dropped for now. Japan is in consideration.

I've tried Blitzkrieg 2...only 3 sides...not that I have anything to say negative with the TC, but I feel that something is lacking on it...

It was lacking the high accuracy unit models which TFH is bringing to it, aswell as TFH's brilliant new faction buildings. The base buildings was an aspect of Blitz 2 which was... well... lacing in all areas.

BTW, good to see you've chosen for the Blitzkrieg way of factions. The name does sound weird though, since Blitzkrieg is German, whereas TFH is English (and about Great-Britain).

I never said that. But I've always said that the Blitz buildings were not your best selling point :)

I've played Blitz II, so I know what it looks like. Some of your models and skins are very well done, but other just don't 'have it' *cough*Jeep*cough*.

Jeep isn't even a real Willy's; it's some 50's "jeep" Proclone pulled out of his ass... I call it our Willys Kubelwagen.

by the looks of things australia and japan shol\uld be in it, and Uk should be a differnt side

This merger shouldn't have taken place...you'll see only some of your structures and units on it, but whatever ideas you have for TFH will surely be ignored...I wouldn't be surprised if Australia will be dropped. Hell, they're still sticking to Great Britain and America as Allies...but that's just me...I hope they prove me wrong.
