To be honest, who is gonna give a shit by the time mod is out no one will care. IMO

Those who always wants a CnC-base-building-skirmish-type-of-gameplay that sets in WW2? Lots of WW2 rts games to pick from the shelves, you name it, Sudden Strike, Blitzkrieg, Panzers, and the upcoming Company of Heroes. But they all have one thing in common, only stupid campaigns and missions ...I don't care what anyone thinks, an rts game without CnC-base-building-skirmish-type-of-gameplay blows.

The closest thing to a WW2 with a CnC skirmish is Axis & Allies and War Times, but it still has flaws, and lots of it.

Sorry to dig up an old thread, but I think that looking back on this points out how far this mod has gone since the merger.
It's certainly prooved some people wrong, like;

you'll see only some of your structures and units on it, but whatever ideas you have for TFH will surely be ignored

The reality is that a heck of a lot of TFH art is being used. Heck most of the German units are either straight from TFH (ahem... mine) or blitz 2 models heavilly modified/rebuilt by the TFH boys (me).
A lot of the new unit ideas were put forward by the TFH boys, lots of new structures are comming together...

To sum it all up, the Merger couldn't have gone better. TFH wasn't simply absorbed. 2 good teams came together to form 1 great team where everyone has a say and no-one is ignored, the result forming will probably be the greatest Generals mod of all time
