They play quite nice.
I wanted to use something like the wolverine and the Titan, but I settled for models I already had access to. new models was just over my head.
Between now and the next polished release there should be very little new art work done. Instead the focus is on designing, testing, and fixing. the mod has always been so close to finished that its nearly criminal. I'd love to see this through to the end with a real community effort.

becose its so expencive that you have to build it in your base but it destroys you base when going out. if not it gets destroyed.and there goes your money.

i suggest that the Defiler (Chem Gen) would cost less or that it dosent hurt you (or you ally).

the couple times I built it I treated it like a a base defense, in my base, but very very close to the edge with a clean LOS to the target area.

Creator Have you given any thought of using the tank bunker for Tank Gen that will be used in Rise of the Reds and Shockwave.
Creator said "Not for Tank china" they're strong enough already. I'm not 100% sure WHO he said would get it, but it would probobly be included

I saw the mechs.. they are very good ! Now why all of you guys said no for a mech with twin gattlings for robot gen when it is allready done ? Pendaelose include it to his latest version and it fits very well for its purpose ! As for my question, will you make a version of the 004 with no promotions and with all the new stuff that you made ?

I was just restating Creator's earlier post on the topic... I would like to see Tank china have such a thing. I've made a varetry of new base defenses and Tank China and flame china would both do well to have a Tank-Bunker.

Tank hunter driod VS emperor... I've not tried a 1 on 1 of this, but I would expect the emperor to win, especialy if the emperor has been fully upgraded and has an anti-armor addon (like sniper cannon or bunker with rocket troops)... but, like I said, I've not tried it. The Droid I think does more damage in one volly, but has a much longer reload time. but for sure either way the droid is 99% useless against infantry, so it does do alot to even it out.
I have heard a great many people talk about how an emperor and 1 battlemaster can scrap a Destroyer... I've had ONE destroyer take on 2 emperors and win... so it kinda skews my idea of what people say one unit can do.

I agree with M.E.C.H. the tank hunter is very good and i think that M.E.C.H. not says that it is overpowered but he said that it is very good ! My opinion is that the tank hunter has very good weapons but not that good hit points and armor so it is balanced alot As for the bunker, it is a very good ideaTank general is not to powerfull... when .04 comes out i'll talk to Creator about editing his work. As I've said in every thread now, I'll do it if its cool with Creator.

I would like to see one version too, but like I've said, Creator and I have some different ideas. I like his work alot... a WHOLE lot, I might even be his biggest fan. It left me so inspired I wanted to make it myself... but I don't plan on taking over his mod... and I will not step on his ideas. that is the main reason for 2 versions. unless he chooses to include my work it will remain seperate.
But if Creator is willing, I do plan to make a Contra .04 Remix to include all his excelent work and mine in one mod. But like I say over and over... I will ask him permision before I do this. I will not use his work without consent. It should be Creator you ask over and over if he will let me use Contra .04... you've already got my support on the idea.
You isn't just YOU, Mech... its ALL the people I keep posting this same thing to every time I get asked if I will make a Conta .04 version.
I'll make it if its cool with Creator. Contra is his brain child... I will respect his wishes on the topic.

Other than that I've been taking just a few days off. I was going balls to the wall for a few weaks and it started to catch up with me.Ok, whats up with your next version ? I think that gla has been forgoten in the latest versions... Someone told that they lost the "Scrap but Good" feeling and i absolutelly agree with him, they lost their power they became an army of "Cheap, Scrap and no good" Only made them more cheaper is not an option. I think that they should be cheaper than the other armies but not that much and they must have more power ! Even their superweapon does nothing at your enemy's base ! One idea for the assault was to make armor barriers in front of his tanks and give them more firepower and more armor. I think this idea is perfect for the assault gen style. what I'm thinking for GLA right now is alot deeper than just simple changes to a few models. I'm thinking of a total overhual for a couple arimes in the same fasion as what Flame and Cybr got.
Assualt: is in my eyes the "Profesional army" of the GLA. the same differnence as the VietCong to the NVA. I think assault should have a much more tradiotional general feel. Standard command center and supply stash. Supply trucks. Power plants, powerfull base defenses, and units on par with thier enemies. the Mammoth is an example of this. Many standard GLA units I will remove compleatly and replace with tanks capable of performing the same role with better performance. Many of the stealth and fast attack units will be replaced with stand up and fight units.
Chem: should also recieve the standard commnd center and stash with trucks. I really feel like Chems units are already on par, theres little I want to change. some price and build speed adjustments maybe, and some light artillery other than the rocket buggy.
Demo: take on a much more stealth style. ambush and sneak attacks. A new super weapon will also go a long way toward making Demo feared. More stealth upgrades available as well as some new call ins to help get demo troops into combat where it matters
Stealth base and units I already like... they are abnormaly weak on the offense, but I want to do a total overhaul on the generals powers and give a few powers on buildings much like the old airforce carpetbombing. Stealth will become an army deadicated to carefull use of special powers I've got some good ideas, and a few that may or maynot even be posible... my favorite is a large area affect power that instantly garisons neutral buildings in the target area. i'm not sure if it can be done... but I like it alot. on urban maps could be terrifying.

This is a good idea, but except from that assault should have units like destroyer (high armor,large array of weapons) and its supposed to be the tank general of gla.... So your idea for replace buggys,trucks and vehicles with no armor, with tanks is a very good idea !

My opinion is that only assault should have the command center... as for the supply stash give it to him itsa good idea ! Well yes chem has very good units, and the best of them... Of course the sturm-s with its enormous range and damage ! This is a tank killer...

I dont think make him more stealth is a good idea... I think that make his units disquise is a better idea cause there is a stealth general and the others shouldnt have his powers

Stealth needs of a superunit (Creator has in proggress one stealth tank with sniper anti tank cannon) to stand up in the fight of the superunits and to survive ! As for the superweapon amazing idea i hope it can be done !!!
