Hey there,
I'm back after a long break.
Today I'm gonna show you a map wich I have started several months earlier but just today I've finished it.
It is designed for 4v4 gameplay. Tournament Bree!
Note:the village had also a hedge and gates at the south and north part of the village, but due to gameplay issues it has been removed and the hills wich the village sits on have been made passable, most of the time.
A view outside of the village
A view in the village
A view of the prancing pony inn
A view from above

Hey it looks good! The terrain painting is fantastic.
My only suggestion is with the name. =p Do some research and I'm sure you can find one of Bree's sister towns to name your map, and think it would fit it perfectly! =D

Thanks.
Well, I couldn't remember the other villages name on English (I read the book in my language and they are translated different here). But I think It's good as it is, because not many people know about the sister villages of bree. They barely know about bree too. I think a story-movie name is better to attract players . And I can't just remove the prancing pony as it has been customized as a both outpost (50 money instead of 60) and inn (good factions can build dunedains and evil factions can build wildmen from there).
Furthermore the map is big, and it might be a problem for men players (or maybe im just nub with motw) who choose to go with infantry. Especially the back spots. However the slightly reduced vision range of fortresses, and the layout of map, make it it perfect for dwarves and goblins, to sneak forward mines. I always hated tournament hills for this, if you played dwarves it's very clear where you're going to place your mines. Not here anymore

Your Sea of Nurnen, Trollshaws and Swanfleet are fantastic Silver Bane! You've got mountains and terrain painting perfected. If you'd like to make a map of that calibre for AotR just let me know, there's some Birch trees that I'd love to see on a map like Trollshaws.
The image sizes are fine by the way, they are resized in Revora Forums to fit a standard webpage width, and if the webpage is larger the images scale to fit witdh. Otherwise, I host my images on Imgur and use the large thumbnail as the image and the original as a link.
For those that haven't played the terrible game that is Shadow of Mordor (RIP the lore, RIP MERP, RIP microtransactions and greed) here is a picture that shows how close in style Silver Bane has gotten to the environment design of Nurn.

Thanks! I've got the bachelor degree at the end of june, so for now i'm not making any more maps, but ill try to keep in mind and see what i can do after.
And yeah, I got the ledges idea from that game, the mountains part was an absolute nightmare to paint with cliff textures, but i think it looks decent and different than most maps.

AotR Worldbuilder is coming sometime after the Erebor release. So if you get the time you can tell me what you think.

Looks good. Lots of detailed texturing which looks very nice with those long shadows casting over it. Always a pleasure to work with the Emyn Muil textures!

Hey Silver, would you be opposed to the AotR team using your maps? Full credit to you of course, including in the ingame description string.
We might want to change the names and add some special creeps, if that's OK.
