I don't know if this is possible but can someone experienced answer me:
Ragdolls instead of death animations?
High Poly Units?
Configure the game's engine so it can endure these?
Change the game's engine to SAGE 2.0(Red alert 3 uses it)

God damn it! I have the same feeling that i had in April! I need to mod this game!

It will be, when it's rigged and coded into game. Can't say when though. modding is a hobby u know

Axe done, painting next...
IMO, this is by far the coolest weapon "I" made (recreated) so far. The Weta design is simply bad ass Just imagine getting hit by this small tank

Hey, good that you made it, I was too busy lately playing some LOTRO, I'm on a bit of modding break and also in LOTR is a bit of fuss with the server transfers.

Painting the axe... metal almost done. But, I'm not sure if I should go with cuts in the blade, or not. Logically, they're supposed to be new in game, but cuts look cool

Allright I agree, thanks I'll go with some minor cuts like that, and some scratches here and there. I just remembered that's that what I did with the shields too as well as Dain's hammer

280 polys is a lot for a weapon, but it will be wielded by the Banner Carriers only

Updated the helmet, by painting a new one with more details and color, and added more contrast and shading to the body - to match the new Erebor units =)

What a field day - the Iron Hills soldier model is now 100% complete, all in "low" poly.
I read somewhere that the Iron Hills dwarves of the Horse Lords mod is about 1800 polys. Not sure if that is including all gear or body only, but this SEE version is 2400 polys, all in all. That is:
- Helmet 399
- Head 365
- Body 1000
- Shield 19
- Spear 175
- Sword 155
- Axe 284
So for regular soldiers, it will be Helmet, Head, Body, Shield & Sword 1900 polys in game. I hope that will be ok...
Can't wait to see these guys rigged, to suitable skeletons for infantry and phalanx as well as to machinery and the new goat cavalry rams

But yes, I just sent word to my Riggers
Also, we need to figure out suitable anims for this army!
- Pikemen, preferably with shields. Phalanx don't use shields, so maybe Easterling anims? Or Gondor Spearmen? Suggestions??
- Swordsmen with shields. Maybe Gondor soldiers? Theoden?
- Crossbowmen: Uruk Crossbow SKL
- Cavalry: Warg Rider SKL
- Battle Wagon.
- Catapult.
- Demolisher
Last three is unchanged SKL obviously. Axe is for Banner Carriers.
