Just asking, but was that a Huntress in Kill the Messenger? She looked so out of place

speaking of the huntress, is she scripted to steal the mcv? because in skirmish mode it's impossible for a huntress to hijack MCVs(they are immune to hijacking).

Foehn did. Not every of their technologies has to be pre-established in Act Two.

 

Though this have been obvious from the very start, and everyone knew this 99.99%, this confirms Foehn being fully post-Act 2 and there being a Final Act. :V

i don't know if this was asked by someone else or not, but who came up with the ideas for these weapons that foehn uses for their units in the mod's lore? while kanegawa industries has been confirmed as the creator of the particle collider tech that some of foehn's units use(along with possibly plasma and railgun weaponry since the future tank x-0 is using what i think is an early prototype of either weaponry) and that china created the cybernetics (oh did i say create? i meant stole) and nanotechonology (or to be more precise Yunru created it i suspect) that form the basis for most of foehn's infantry, these ones i have no clue as to who created them:

 

sonic weaponry

confusion rays

wind manipulation (mechanical means) 

 

You can make some pretty good educated guesses based on what's been revealed so far.

 

 

Wind manipulation probably comes from KI. The Tempest Architect is based off of the weather control device which PF scientists made, and KI developed the Jackal, which will eventually use Windspin engines.

 

Sonic weapons and pressurized batteries are kind of like wind manipulation, so maybe KI developed these as well.

 

Robotics, Hacking, Signal Jamming, and Encryption probably comes from Yunru since she's a talented computer scientist.

 

 

It's hard to say where confusion rays come from. Maybe Rashidi? I don't think he's contributed anything so far.

Doubtful. Rashidi i believe doesn't have the knowledge to create unique energy weapons like the confusion ray, though considering the weapon's nature maybe he gave some inspiration about it??

You're probably right about this. I am under the impression that certain drugs will cause people to have hallucinations. Maybe that could count?

It could. We don't really know what confusion rays are exactly. They could some kind of energy thing or some kind of neurotoxin. I don't know why it would affect robots if were a neurotoxin though.

If we look at the faction stories on MO's website, we can see that the Foehn section reads as follows:

The true enemy is still hiding in the shadows. We should prepare for his arrival.

 

Does this mean that there is someone else who pulled the strings behind the Mental Omega War and the Foehn's real target?

I'd say that it refers to Yuri, but seeing how the Foehn "reveal" and origins went in the game so far, it seems less about them knowing and "preparing for his arrival", rather it's Yunru figuring out eventually through the events of Act 1 that Yuri is the one they must fight. Maybe she knew about a "true enemy" before, just didn't know who he was? Or is there someone else? After all, Yunru is the "co-creator" of nanotech, and we still don't know who's the other. Or others.

Possibly Kane just be a joke to lose your head... or can be the founder of KANEgawa industries. 

 

Maybe Reptoir is the supercomputer of VOLKNET that went against humanity .. ejem "CABAL". after seeing all the disaster they caused ... WW2, WW3, Mental Omega War... etc. I really would like something like that, not everything in foehn should be "we are the saviors, we do good and blah blah blah". It would also be dramatic to end the game with Yunru disconnected his creation in his last breath.

 

I do not know what the MO team has planned to do on Act III and the end of the game, but I really expect something unexpected and strange ... without going out of logic or making a strange connection with tiberium. Although we talk about Act III without even really knowing the end of Act II...

I'm pretty sure that was a joke post honestly. The theory has been floating around that Foehn is Proto-GDI since the reveal of Foehn, and people are quick to instantly assume that the theoretical Reptoir are Proto-Nod, so the post was probably made to joke stoke the fires of the joke even more.

I always liked to believe that foehn confusion technology is/are nano machines stimulating people, in some way, into insanity. Be it through drugs or electro shock. idk. That's my best guess.

Still we'll just wait how things go out as the Foehn develop itself... At the expense of the Allies and Soviets.

While it is guaranteed that there will be an Act 3,where Foehn begins their war against Epsilon,the question is what happens after Yuri's fall?

There are a few hypothetical situations:-

1.A splinter group of Haihead could go rogue,in it's quest to develop increasingly destructive battle technologies,causing the rest of the Sharkhead and the Wings of Coronia and the Last Bastion to hunt them down?

2.The remnants of the Epsilon forces could leave Earth in a shuttle during the ensuing chaos in the attack on Yuri's polar fortress,out of reach of the Foehn Revolt?

3. Yuri already died by the time Act 3 occurs, and someone else has already replaced him
