Well, the Foehn EVA has a very well done voice, very demanding sounding and cybernetic. and now there are 2 females and now 2 male EVA's.

The Coronian Draco tank is surprising with its detachable turret quirk. really makes you keep tabs on all the anti air units you have. get those IFV's, Halftracks, and Gatling Tanks ready. but does the Turret stay up there like a floating sentry or can you still move it? and will it be able to attack enemy gunships? i wonder if the spinblade compatibility is unique to the Draco or extends to all Foehn MBT's.

(i still predict that the other two subfaction MBT's would be a GDI Titan like walker that is slow but can crush and the other tank can heal from killing enemy vehicles with nanomachines, son)

The Sweeper seems quite powerful with its rockets and cloaking when deployed feature. though i suspect that it has weak armour as a drawback for cloaking and firepower.

While i like the swirly, bubbly looking effect of the Irritator's confusion ray, the flare blast looks too violent and looks more like the psychic dominator's blast. suggest it instead make a bunch of small flare sprites slowly fall around the blast?

The Mastodon is looking as mean as ever. i do like the targeting crosshair on who it's preparing to fire at as well as the "heat haze" effect around the target. like its gonna turn whatever the enemy is standing on into glass.

The Nanite cloud appears to make the nearby KinghtsFrames shine like they are getting effected by the cloud. so it looks like it works on Foehn infantry as well. giant tank ambulance!

Diverbees are Kamikaze drones. simple. though lot of resources? seems counterproductive for a unit designed to be expendable. unless it means deploying them in large numbers.

The Alanqua Skystation is probably the highlight for this clip. watching the enemy infantry fly and splat on the ground looks hilariously brutal. and i see it's shooting heat seeking wind bubbles (!)

The Minermite, knew that little thing was its resource collector. and that it was Spinblade compatible. i wonder if it spawns in pairs from a newly constructed refinery? also a resource collector working as a repair vehicle is a very unexpected idea.

Harbinger looks great, nothing else to say.

Now that Quickshifter is one tricky looking thing. says it carries infantry but only see 1 bip on it. i guess limited space for a portable chrono device and missile pods?

That Salamander looks quite nasty. but a very great looking design. but looks more Foehn in style then Epsilon. but then again, it is reverse engineered from Foehn tech to begin with. but is the two confusion ray modes deploy selected on auto select based on target distance?

Now other thoughts, i am a bit dissapointed with how the structures are spawned. but hey, it saves on animation time and the buildings look pretty nice with their Shark logos.

The Music does feel very heroic and epic, but seems to really go at odds with the rest of the established red alert music which is that funky electro dance-ish by Frank Klepacki. the Epsilon soundtrack by Black Ice 9 feels different but still manages to fit with the Red Alert feel and even feels like pure threatening malice but also bizarre and otherworldly. this is almost generic in comparison. still wonder if this is just trailer and placeholder music.

Also Volknet? i bet Volkov is used a cyborg bio-server for communications? or Volk meaning "people" and that they are the "Free People".  :ninja:

Also i wonder if the Alanqua's tornado can send enemy vehicles flying then exploding after depleting their health.

Cant wait to see the next set of videos!

Allow me to answer your questions.

Draco:

- Turret acts as autonomous unit. You can order it to move and attack targets.

- Spinblade tech is unique for this MBT

Sweeper:

- Its not as broken as it seems to be. Its easy to localize the source of damage. However, it will be a nightmare for less carful players.

Mastodon:

- Nanocharge repairs ALL ground allied units in its range. Since Last Bastion seems to be about holdiing the ground, i guess it fits.

Diverbee:

- While it may be slightly costly, massive damage to vechicles and AoE effect makes it a good unit.

Crowning unit of awesome, Alanqa Godstation:

- it cannot lift vechicles. Air bubble is capable of damaging only aerial threats. Tornado wont lift anything either.

Quickshifter:

- it single passenger slot can be used to give players some nasty surprises or (re)capture distant tech structures. USA Quickshifter anyone?

Salamander:

- It has no deploy. First confusion beam is ranged. Another oneis AoE around Salamander.

Does the Taco Draco turret self-destruct after some time (limited lifespan)?

I guess the flying turret is not that much of a concern balance-wise, as it seems you're gonna invest a lot in anti-air when face this subfaction anyway.

Also, Foehn info pages are hidden now just like the stolen tech is. I guess they are slowly getting filled, and this means the release is upon us! I hope it will happen within the next 2 months at least :D

No. It works as a normal unit, no timed lifespan.

I am surprised and mildly-disappointed at the Alanqa's bubble gun. I was expecting those four turbines to create a horizontal tornado or something that literally blows the enemy out of the sky.

Draco Tank basically has a Gunship as its Turret. And think of it as a way of bringing back Crew Survivors only the Survivor actually has a use.

Now the Harbinger; is it controllable once you summon it to the battlefield or makes precision strikes automatically once you summon it to the battlefield and then goes away ?
And regarding the building animations of the Foehn structures, I think that they perfectly fit their unconventional and unique nature.
Additionally, my very own favorite of this new installment is the Salamander, though; I found it a bit underpowered for its size.
To end, the best unconventional allied strike team comes into my mind is that Chrono legionaires supported by Charons and Quickshifters. Any opinions about this, anyone ? Is it too fragile against a well coordinated "blunt force" ?

Harbinger cannot be controled. It will strike designated area.

Charon/CLeg/Qshifters wont work. They will be easily overwhelmed by massed t1 units.

Wings of Coronia really does take the air-heavy theme to extreme. I wanna see how they wreck China's "crawling walls of tanks."

I guess that's one reason why the Centurion got anti-air weapon now.

And now we kinda know what Haihead is about: They are glass cannons.

As Solais noted the Cloud Piercers appears to be the radar of the Foehn faction because it allows the production of an MCV. But news bulletin 26 states that the Stolen Tech Salamander is obtained by infiltrating a Cloud Piercer.

So either Foehn MCV can only be built much later, or the Cloud Piercer is more than just a radar building.

Soviet Airfield also serves as a Radar, so it would not be surprising if the Foehn Revolt has a battle lab/radar hyrbrid. ( I mean double-purpose structures in comparison)

Looks like either the Tech tree of Foehn is twisted, or some of the descriptions is missleading (oversight?). Though there's also the question whether all Foehn subfactions have the same T3 building or not, or maybe there are some specific upgrades, like Epsilon plugs.

A T3 radar is unlikely a thing though.

Considering that Foehn is pretty much the "unlikely" faction, everything we think as unlikely might be quite likely.

Inb4 mobile production buildings because why not. But getting access to radar THAT late is just absurd.

if tech tree of foehn reaches T3 faster than the other sides? the radar is his lab.

And now we kinda know what Haihead is about: They are glass cannons.

With that statement, the Wings of Coronia is based on mobility. Their subfaction specialization seems to be leaning on the classic "Attack-Speed-Defense" mainstay in video games.

Allow me to answer your questions.

Alright, thanks for your answers.

Also, does the Alanqa Skystation should "shake" enemy vehicles caught in the tornado like how a terror drone infection shakes its victim vehicle. that would be a neat effect.

Also, my guess is that the Cloud Piercer is both T1 and T2 structures. since we know that MO does use a building upgrade mechanic for the Pandora Hub and Allies Power Plants. the Cloud Piercer is built first to provide Tier 1 tech and Radar, then the Nanofibre Loom, which then unlocks the "Cyberkernel" which would actually be an upgrade for your Cloud Piercer, that brings it up to Tier 2. As it is stated to be upgradable (which is required to summon the Harbinger support power). Calling it!

Maybe it's like the GDI Tech Lab in TS, which originally was the radar building with two upgrades in the beta, if I recall.
