Actually, Foehn got 4 (FOUR) epic units like that.

 

Where have you heard this? can you source this? or are you a beta tester?

 

I guess there will be a not-Mammoth MK.II a not-MARV and a not-Kodiak. but that would mean one subfaction gets 2 Epic Units?

With all honesty, Allies do not need epic units. Looking at their insane unit list where you can counter almost everything, i dont think there is a need to have on :D

 

And i'd rather not count anything that comes from support power as superunit. Yes Harbinger, im looking at you.

Do the Foehn have any other power plant structures, like a Nuclear Power Plant/Power Turbine?

Not that I'm complaining though. Foehn power plants are the one of the most space efficient power plants in the game.

Also, will the Nanofiber Loom work on tier 3 units? I think it was stated somewhere that the Loom is just for promoting tier 1 infantry to tier 2. It would be cool if the Loom turned your one of your tier 3 units into the Hero units.

The Loom is not evolving any infantry to another tier, it's turning them into their second forme. Tier 3 infantry also has second formes.

Heroes can't have a second forme because of the Build Limit restrictions.

If you transformed a hero, you'd be able to train it again from the Barracks while keeping its 'evolved' version alive.

IIRC Ares added the possibility to use units as prereqs, no? If yes, can't you set that both evolved and unevolved form provides a generic prereq which disables the hero?

Even if that was be a solution, then there is still the mutation period during which it would probably be possible to train the hero from the Barracks again.

Hmm, so during the mutation period, none of the units exist? I thought it was just an effect on the already existing unit which then turns into the new one once the effect finishes.

I as well. It's unfortunate that the code just works out this way.

On ModDB Speeder used term "2016 release".  So it is 100% that BR2 is coming this yeat?

Consider all these announcements only with addition "If everything will go just as planned, then....". RL always can interfere, and if a big project you are announcing depends on many people and not on you alone, there are higher chances of this to happen. I am a tester of ROTR mod for ZH (which is quite well organized for a fanmade project) and I can say there were plenty of times when the release was delayed due to unexpected issues (be those technical problems or RL stuff) or because somebody important didn't have enough time to finish the assigned job. Nothing is wrong with it, we are all real people who can be busy and not have time for our hobby.

So I think we can hope that if nothing unexpected will happen, the next version of MO (which is 3.3 and not BR2 anymore) will be availble in 2016. I assume if there are announcements like that already, then the work is probably more or less done, and not too much remains in the "to do" list. I guess it is voice acting, some voxel and cameo work, stolen tech and all the promotional things like trailers and such.

I've heard that the regular mg ifv is leaving... And that ifv's have 23 ish slots (correct me if I'm wrong) so how many slots does this free up?
Like does the mg leaving open another mode, or does the fact that so many infantry used this mode open a whole ton of slots?

Oops... Fixed it.

And I don't think so... Because it the mg took up only 1 slot then there are no where near enough slots taken up by other modes.

MG used one slot, which was used to enable the light MG by putting T1 rifle infantry like Conscripts and GIs (not sure about Initiates) inside. But I can't say MG IFV was really useful against infantry, it won't handle a small group of infantry anyway while the infantry can kill the IFV easily thanks to thin armor. So the freed slot can be used for a more useful and interesting weapon, most likely a Foehn one (Huntess' nanoeater or confusion ray maybe?).

Actually MG IFV was beast when dealing with infantry. There is a reason why everyone thought that robot tanks were total piece of crap Not to mention they dealt nice damage to garrisons - and could outrange them.
