So this recent Showcase seems very focused on the Stolen Tech Units. Probably to make room for the next video to finish off the Fohen units and subfaction specific replacement units.
Of all the Stolen Tech Units, the Syckle seems the odd one out. its technology all looks pretty much soviet homegorwn. Rad Cannons and mini iron curtain. how does Epsilon technology work in this unit? unless its simply a refinement of the Speeder Trike. and function wise, im not sure how to use this unit. unless it is immune to mind control, then it would be INCREDIBLY useful for taking out adepts and masterminds.
There is something really terrifying about the Wormqueen's design. i think it has to do about the way it borrows and its crazy tesla weapon. i can see this being an absolute nuisance to the Soviets (and russia in particular)
The Scavanger is a very interesting unit and to be honest, making it a stolen tech unit feels kinda a waste.
Salamander looks difficult to counter, and the only reliable method i see is with base defenses. also the Seizer looks very powerful but since it's a jet, it seems limited to 4 at most unless you get another Aerodome up. i guess making more then 4 would be quite an investment.
I think its kinda funny how the Grumble is the only stolen tech unit that is designed from a real life vehicle. i wonder how Allied technology is used in what a Russian homegrown vehicle. i guess the missiles use top secret allied engine design to carry a large payload to catch up with the speedy Allied jets.
Also if anyone missed it or caught it, it appears the Toxic Cloak ability is replaced with a Toxic Strike. basically toxin bombing from Dybbuk jets. i predicted that the Toxic Cloak would get scrapped before the tech trees where updated. but toxic cloak was kept in until now it really was scrapped. so i sorta predicted it lol.

The Apocalypse Tank definitely exists (see this, check left of Stalin Fist) - It's purpose is yet unknown i.e. what is new about it.
What does look a bit weird is the model - It looks a bit.. .long? But maybe that's just me.
Finally, Apoc Tank having "Inspirational Aura" would be an awesome addition to Soviets, could be something like +50% attack/speed/both.
So, inspirational aura, yay or nay?

something like +50% attack/speed/both.
No other unit grant such high bonuses, and making it an aura affecting nearby units? Instant gamebreaker.

Aren't stolen tech units supposed to be gamebreakers, though? Punishment for leaving the Tech Center unguarded.

The Wormqueen is giving me memories of the Shogun Executioner. Health getting a bit low? Steer them towards a Tesla Tower!
Got to say though, the Quetzal's the unit that's got my attention. Hey, as well as having turned up seemingly out of nowhere with an alarmingly powerful military, it turns out the Foehn have just as many weapon platforms in orbit as the Americans now have Mercury Satellites! Jeez guys, didn't anyone notice the suspiciously high number of rocket launches? But those orbital strikes look awesome.
Oh hey, looks like the Kappa's been redesigned into a new, sleeker model too! (Seen floating past in the Syckle segment.)

The Wings of Coronia might be Celestial Being. (Maybe Foehn itself is that.) :V

Obviously I don't how (un)balanced this could actually be but having some kind of aura definitely is a good idea and one of the best ways to bring back Apoc.
USA has their "Target Painter" which increases the amount of damage an enemy object can take so why not put similar technology into an Apoc.
Say something like (not 50%) but 10-25% increased attack for friendly units in a space the size of how much an iron curtain or chronosphere can affect. That way it could be used well with Iron Curtain which is a definite plus for Soviets. After all this would be a Soviet vs Soviet game which would have tons of tank spam.

Yes, but target painter is a timed ability. Not something you have all the time. Warhawk's target painter requires time to prepare, as it doesnt attack instantly.
After all this would be a Soviet vs Soviet game which would have tons of tank spam.
You would be actually surprised. SvS matchup is heavily relying on infantry, esspecialy if you are latin or china.

Slave Miner will not be a thing in the form presented in that video. That's not even an official map, at least not yet. There's a reason it's not on the already updated Epsilon tech tree.
As for the Soviets, they have Gear Change, that has also been already revealed.

wait... when do you see the slave miner?
and is that the new unit you hinted at a bunch of weeks ago on twitter?

Anyone else feel Syckle is underwhelming? I mean, it is fast, but tbh it's just a bike that shoots a some missiles that can go invisible for a bit.
Unless this is cheap/produced quick, it won't be as good as some of the other stolen techs.
