I prefer to leave it a mystery. Who knows if they are parallel worlds or the same world? Who knows what the future will bring?
That there is no time manipulation in MO does not necessarily preclude time manipulation in TI.

Well depends on the manner of timetravel used by MO/TI. You could say that some bald guy appearing from nowhere set the events of MO into motion, but in the end, it won't end up as TI. In one theory of timetravel, the moment he appeared, he created another universe. I mean, think about the RA1 intro. Einstein went back in time to kill Hitler to prevent WW2 happening. When he returns, how come that his young assistant (who's most likely Siegfried, btw :V) knows about Hitler and WW2? That's because he returned to his own old universe, and indeed, this Einstein might not be the same Einstein as in RA1, because that's another timeline/universe. (Though in this theory, Einstein shouldn't have been able to return to his old universe, but that's a minor point. :V)

Damn, if the guys at Westwood just made half as much effort to explain the universe of their creation as you guys do, we wouldn't have so many gaping plot holes.

Anybody wanna speculate on Foehn's organizational structure? I'm curious as to how chain of command works. And whart are Foehn commanders called? I was thinking Knight-Commander, but then I'm immediately reminded of Meredith from DA2.

With "Chivalry's not dead!" phrase from Knightframe I would go for some kind of knightly / medieval Europe chain. Lord Commander maybe?
As for the factions - Last Bastion as main base of operations, with Coronia Base (which is something like super-giant-Helicarrier-in-goddamn-tornado-where-nobody-can-fly-except-for-Coronia) and Haihead as some kind of special task force to do the hit'n run blitzkrieg shenaningas.

Lord Commander. Foehn is the Night's Watch. We're going Games of Thrones here. Can you imagine, Last Bastion holding out their massive wall in the North.

I'm not sure about the specific positions like commanders. However, the Foehn unit and structure descriptions gives some clues about the different subfactions and their role.
Last Bastion is a centralised hub that contains most of Foehn's production facilities. Presumably, the top leaders are located here and direct Coronia and Haihead. Haihead is composed of many strike team across the world, so the majority of Foehn's commanders are probably allocated to different divisions.
Wings of Coronia is the most ambiguous one. The Reprocessor says there's extensive nanite facilities on the Coronia ship/thing, so it must be a well equipped war machine. Except the Harbinger Tower mentions various Wings of Coronia divisions and multiple Harbingers across the globe, so they can't be a single army moving together under one commander in the Coronia. It may be that Coronia acts as mobile hub, while Last Bastion is a stationary one, directing Coronian forces.

Archduke?
I just imagine every Foehn sub faction is just like a medieval Duchies.
Or Foehn is akin to great house and its subfactions is a lesser houses

Warhammer Fantasy/40K vibes, I am feeling. The medieval theme sure does match, to an extent. But the Knightframe is just an example, it might not necessarily reflect the entirety of the factions.

The great house does make sense. But the thing is, most of the descriptions always somehow tie it all to Last Bastion. Even Fin and Alize were trained there. So it would seem that Last Bastion might just be Foehn central command, besides being their primary stronghold. It does seem that way.
Nah, I think they will be anything but conventional in terms of organization. Possibly the average soldiers doin't even have ranks, calling the others brothers and sisters...each squad is commanded by a preacher/commissar...maybe
They might even have AI as commanders instead of relying on humans all the time.
An Astra Militarum/Mechanicus mix? Sounds about right

Most of the infantry have a very medieval feel to their names and roles, with the exception of the Clairvoyant/Duplicant, Zorbtrotter/Zorbfloater. And Syncronaut just for the name.
Knightframe/Kingsframe has the chivalrous, gallant cavalier image. Lancer reminds me of jousting knights, or generally knights on horseback, charging headlong into the fray. Huntresses, well, hunt poor sods. Deviatresses, um, deviate other people from their path, not unlike a Siren but without the seduction part.
Syncronin because 'ronin', masterless warriors (note the irony). Giantsbane is akin to veteran warriors who are so good at their job they earned grand titles to denote their badassery. Godsbane, basically, because they make the gods tremble in their pants (reminds me of ancient tales where even mere mortals fight/challenge the gods).
Basing the ranking system off these might not be surprising. But we'll have to see how the devs pull it off, or if they'll just stick with conventional stuff.

Talk about naming senses, I wonder who thought of the idea of using pre-historic animals for Foehn vehicles. Quite a brilliant idea as they were not overused, but why?
The Pteranodon is a perfect fit. If there's gonna be more units in the future I hope we'll have something with Brachio or Triceratops as its name.
