Well that's unthinkable, even for Yuri

It's possible though, but Yuri also let Rashidi's team disassembled the old Chronosphere. That tech is almost as dangerous as the MIDAS. In The Conqueror, he also directed the Topol-Ms to Scorpion Cell's strike team base.
Not entirely sure about Ghost Hunt. There was also those Shadow Tanks that appeared outta nowhere and I thought the Ghost Hunt is a distraction for Godsend event
And I don't know exactly what type of man Rashidi is, but he seems to deeply appreciate Yuri's attempt to rescue him in Killing Fields, and thought he was only a loose end on Yuri's plan.

That would explain the mobile launcher in Rashidi's main base.
It's also possible that the Chinese set up that invasion to also direct the truck to that tunnel, and they have infiltrated into the Russian army like they did in the initial base
But why would the Chinese attack both Topol-M's if they attempt to capture the bomb? The Chinese sabotaged the bridge near the launch outpost, which let to the destruction of the first Topol-M. They also try to destroy the second.

What if there's a rogue subfaction within the China subfaction (besides the ROC... or maybe the ROC)? I mean, in Juggernaut, Russia and China are allies again. But then, what about this: http://mentalomega.c...mg/soviet17.jpg
Do note where the shield is. It's where the arrow points from to Kashmir on this: http://media.moddb.c.../nobodyhome.png

I've just realised that the Scorion Cell's Mantis Tank's description mentions nanofibers.

If we are talking about retcons, the Irkalla description says that it was created as a reply to the Centurion, but storywise, there's no sign of the Centurion at all (unless we are missing something due to briefings not being available yet).

Looking at Speeder's replies above, I can guess there will be a major retcon to MO's lore so that many inconsistencies (like Epsilon Basilisk using plasma weapons and Mantis Tanks use nanofibers, as Handepsilon and Divine says) can be corrected.
By the way, any word on the rest of Act 2 missions? I can't wait to know who are the Foehn is and the ultimate outcome of the Mental Omega War...

Yeah, the explanation of Mantis' healing mechanism always bugged me. Come, on, "nanofibers and smart polymers" on a $600 joke of a tank built by some gangsters in some underground bunker?
Thankfully with addition of Foehn there's no more BS like "cryo railgun", "psychic railgun", "heat railgun", "laser railgun", "teddy bear railgun" and so on, unlike in the old times where any directed energy weapon was called a railgun no matter if it uses electromagnetics or not.

I'd like to see a scorpion cell-Epsilon mini-war, but it wouldn't last long, It would last half a mission at best
Because epsilon is far more superior than scorpion cell, also.. I am still wondering why Al-Rashidi has a voice over.

Because in 2 missions you can directly command Rashidi, him having no voice at all would be bad. Speaking of, can he get a custom voice? WIth all those talented people who made the new voices for 3.3 it shouldn't be a problem at all.

Which missions would those be?
I haven't played the epsilon campaign

Yeah, that's not exactly accurate either anymore.
While you're at retconing, why not do it to Foehn's "very heavy machine guns". Like, come on. What kind of definition / category is that even. The Knightframe mentions flechette ammunition in one of his lines, so I assume that "VHMG" was meant to be flechette gun, right?

It's about as weird as plasmerizer. I personally have no problems with that.

Those would be E03 Scrapyard and E09 Killing Fields. In both missions you have to make progress before he comes under your control.

Oh no, we need to retcon that too.
Just don't retcon the founding of the Foehn. Or maybe we just say that Rashidi helped build Foehn lol.
Those accidental findings are awesome, makes the Epsilon-Foehn fight a lot more interesting with an tech stealing undercurrent.
Foehn's founder(s) must have committed the greatest intellectual property theft ever to steal from Yuri.

Is act 2 the last act?
Also, if not, the best idea imo is to have just one mission for every faction that isn't canon in which that respective faction wins the war.
It doesn't have to tie in with the main campaign.

Since Foehn doesn't have a campaign yet, likely Act 2 is not the final act.
