I think one of the reasons FinAlize seems weaker as characters is that their voice acting is really quiet compared to
THE FLOOR IS LAVA
I don't know if it's just me, but the only lines I hear clearly are "Together we are strong" and "Dualize".

Quite a tall order to expect FinAlize to take over the popularity rankings within a month of their debut.
The winds could change when Foehn campaign sheds more light into them.

Hopefully one mission will be about Fin and Alize alone.
You know, explaining in detail how they were found.

The problem with this is that Yunru and Libra are popular, even though they haven't really appeared in the campaign either. Libra is missing so far, while Yunru only appeared in cutscenes and once in a coop mission.

If you guys don't mind me switching topic from Foehn lore to Foehn gameplay, who is your favorite Foehn unit? Mine is the Shadray Sonic Tank. I love this thing, I love that it kicks any ass no problem. If you crossed the Prism tank (my favorite vanilla RA2 unit) with the Disruptor Tank from Tiberian Sun (my fave unit from that game), you'd get the Shadray Sonic Tank (my fave Foehn unit).

I can't wait for the full info of this new faction to appear. Since the other mission campaigns are still not there

Where is the subfaction spotlight for any of the Foehn factions? No hero spotlights either.

They're really fun to watch, besides I love watching any video giving insight on mental omega's story.

Actually, when 3.3 was released, there were three videos released showing the three subfactions in Skirmish. Those are basically the subfaction spotlights.
The faction information on the site still have to be updated though.

Yeah, I still don't know where the hell these crazy nano tech wind gods from the future came from. basically, Yuri's Epsilon army conquers the world, but then these guys manage to break thru and fight back? In Skirmish mode, how does it make sense that Foehn and the Allies and the Soviets and Yuri can all be present at the same time? TIME TRAVEL, thats how.
Problem solved.

the devs already stated that there will be no time travel involved.
It's obviously that the Foenn are the remnants of Allied and Soviet forces

Does anyone knew the meaning of Yunru's name? When I looked on Google, it means "cloud-like" in Mandarin, but I want to confirm whether this is true or not.
And I also have one unresolved question: the meaning of MIDAS and whether it is a thermonuclear weapon or something else.

It says "Charming-seeming" for me, but another site says "like bamboo skin". I recall it also means smart, but I need to look into it more.

Small OT: I just got an idea for the Foehn campaign.
Initially, chaos/confusion technology was something tied to Yuri/Epsilon. What if Foehn had stole that technology from Epsilon? The campaign map could include things like the old Chaos Drones, and the goals of the mission would be : 1°) Taking this confusion tech from Epsilon, and 2°) destroy any data not stolen so Epsilon cannot have this technology.
Thoughts about this?

Yunru to me sounds not Chinese in name. Anyways the MIDAS was noted to be an ICBM, hence the Allied defense system is design to counter it.
Wish there are official artwork of those "heroines"
