No. I think my antivirus software hideously blocked the Syringe.exe because first time I played the game there's a threat from AVG.  I ignored it.

But, after this problem showed up, I checked my AVG don't show any threat from any files of MO and RA2.

Go to the compatibility options of gamemd.exe and select 16-bit color mode. Also run as administrator.

 

I had the same problem the guy you were responding to did, and did this to try to fix it. Unfortunately the game just doesn't launch anymore (clicking the launch game button does nothing) and doesn't give an error message this time.

I got a tip from my bro,

I reinsatalled game by also shut any threat scanner from AVG or else. Works fine now.

Don't let the antivirus protect some of MO's importanat things there.

 

For someone who had a problem like this, you can try this solution. Especially Win 10 users.

Nvm, I restarted the PC and it worked.

Hi.Mental Omega is great as always.Thank you guys.Though I have a couple pf problems.I play it on my HP Laptop Windows 10 64-bit with Radeon graphic card.After I installed the game,I did the recommended settings,though the gameplay lags often,also I can't go to the options menu during gameplay,the game freezes though music still plays,hope you answer me and thank you very much!

Change renderer until you find the best one. That usually fixes the options menu freeze (at least, it did for me).

Sean Lim: That's the other bug that's currently known. I'm certain it's not Ares related and I didn't investigate further.

Shelbythetriagularsquare: Yeah, that's the crash I fixed in Ares 0.Cp1. You could try to download it and use it instead of the Ares version that comes with MO, but as I said: I don't recommend it because even though it would fix single player, you'll desync multiplayer games with it.
