So just installed Mental Omega, thought I'd check it out. Followed the instructions on the page. Game encounters a fatal error when I try to play fullscreen, but loads well enough in windowed mode. Except...
The game crashes whenever the cursor leaves the window. (screenshot) Not totally game breaking, I can play casually and just avoid the edge of the screen, but I could see in higher intensity play that might get -real- annoying.

xp sp3 yes, And...*loads game to check* I was using IE-DDRAW Switched to TS-DDRAW. No change in windowed mode.
Also tried fullscreen under TS-DDRAW. Initial fatal error remained the same, but a new error popped up after. (screenshot)
The debug report mentioned is fairly lengthy. If there's part of it you guys need to see, I'll upload that.
I should also mention I'm trying to run this on win10, if that affects anything.

This will make the 3rd time without a response but I haven't been able to play mental omega for over 2 months because no one has responded to my question about my problem. I am highly frustrated but I can put that aside I have Isolated my problem that is going wrong and it is one thing.
Message: Retrieving the COM class factory for component with CLSID {56FDF344-FD6D-11D0-958A-006097C9A090} failed due to the following error: 8007007e The specified module could not be found.
this is the only error I have received and other than the client file states that every other thing is running as it should but when it gets to this the client crashes.
I please hope someone will respond to this and please help me or can someone just direct me to someone who will actually help.

Does this happen when you're running client or when you're running the game?

I would need the except.txt or the syringe.log after the crash happened. So just installed Mental Omega, thought I'd check it out. Followed the instructions on the page. Game encounters a fatal error when I try to play fullscreen, but loads well enough in windowed mode. Except...

Open a command prompt and run "sfc /scannow". You might need to run this as admin.Message: Retrieving the COM class factory for component with CLSID {56FDF344-FD6D-11D0-958A-006097C9A090} failed due to the following error: 8007007e The specified module could not be found.

Just did a fresh install of Yuris Revenge and Mental Omega.
Let it patch, worked fine.
Ran the game and went to skirmish and tried to launch game.
Nothing.
Doesnt matter what settings i try, Launch Game never does anything.
Also, am i looking for Game.exe or Gamemd.exe? (Soviet icon or Yuri Icon)
Game.exe(soviet icon) is the correct 1.001 version
Game.md(yuri icon){the one in the M.O Directory currently} is version 1.0.0.5
Is there a way to remove or revert patches down to 1.0.0.1

When ever I try to start a game in fullscreen mode I get a pop up box saying "Error - Unable to set the video mode"

That's a bit mixed up. The latest game.exe (Soviet icon) is 1.0.0.6, the latest gamemd.exe (Yuri icon) is 1.0.0.1. Can you try to run MO and then put syringe.log on pastebin.com or put it here (in spoiler) tags? Also, am i looking for Game.exe or Gamemd.exe? (Soviet icon or Yuri Icon)

I'd like to use the standard resolution of RA2 which is like 800x640 so everything isn't zoomed way out, but I've tried nearly all the resolutions including 1920x1080. They do vwork fin in windowed mode, but that leads back to the zoomed out problem.

Hey,
Just installed RA2 through Origin followed the instructions on the website.
Whenever I try to play either campaign or skirmish I get the following
This is even with my anti-virus disabled.
And yes, files are set to run as admin, I'm signed into Windows as an admin as well.
This is a pastebin of my client.log file https://pastebin.com/TZVBNwT6
Edit: Fixed the issue, MentalOmegaClient itself needs to be ran as admin
