MO 3.3 // Game Bugs

Hey,

i and my friend just installed MentalOmega and wanted to start a match. 
When the match is loading, the loading screen displays messages like "MISSING:SST TEXT" and similar stuff.

When we are ingame, the same happens with some of the buildings and units in the menu.

Is this known? I didn't find anything related to it.
May that occur because we have German localized games? Do we need an English patch?

You assumed correct. Speeder said the game will default to English later in the next patch

When i was playing a multiplayer game (King of the Hill), After i have captured the psychic beacon, The timer was freezed at 20:00

Although i had enough power

Just like any other game, one single instance hardly count. Have you tried reproducing this bug, either in skirmish or in multiplayer?


In-game speed vs real life speed?   
Malver in Obisidian Sands?   
Strength-Agility-Intellect subfactions?

I reset the game when AI was casting a lightning storm. Now, whenever I start a game no matter what mode or faction I am playing for or against, a lightning storm is automatically created in the middle of the map in every 10 minute or so..

Are you sure you're not playing a map with storm effects? I don't see how what you're describing is technically possible.

No. I last played against china playing epsilon hq on Bermuda triangle map (6). The game still casts ligtning storms in every 10 mins.
To give further details, the initial map was timekiller challenge. After that, the problem started to occur after I quit the game the moment AI casted lightning storm.

It's awkward for me too :D

I may try to record a game if you like, but I don't know how to..

I'm pretty sure that particular map has scripted random storms in the center.

I was playing Zero Signal on Easy difficulty, and an enemy dog was coming towards Siegfried. Just as the dog reached Siegfried, I deployed him. However, the dog started flashing like he had become elite, but Siegfried didn't die. Sorry, I didn't take a picture.

Playing the Allied co-op Enforcers via LAN, a couple weird things happened:

— neutral Abrams/Bulldog tanks in the base we recapture fired on my forces without provocation

— a moment after the AI captured and sold my CY using a driller, the game had a fatal error
 

I could try reproducing the bug to create logs (and maybe do the same for Soviet co-op Money Source) if needed.

Also, there's a decorative Spy Plane on (6) Resource Strain which makes a really annoying picture-taking sound constantly.

Siegfried is immune to dogs. It probably bit one of your seals or medics :D

Siegfried is immune to dogs. It probably bit one of your seals or medics :D

I presume the newest version of Ares will lessen the chances of the Syringe.exe file crashing on Windows 10? That's what I think caused the file main menu to reappear after trying to start a game.

The south border of the map 'Liberty Challenge' is broken. You may need to reduce the map height by 1 in order to get rid of black broken 'cliffs'. yes-tick.png

5 terror drone attack 1 memerimte one do damage to him 4 of them bounce from memermite - i guess is unfixable like a usa miner bug right?

that's....not a bug, units can only be infested by 1 terror drone at a time and it was always the case.

you mean how they're able to remove Terror Drones by porting away? That also is NOT a bug

Attack on 'Buggy' is also broken apparently, with neutral defenses killing Soviet units.  Not sure why though, since it wasn't an issue in the past (at least in 3.0).  I'm guessing it may be a known issue.

some coop that involves neutral units seem to have problems. Enforcer's neutral Abrams try to attack you for instance
