Foehn can't be pure "Cannons", because those type of units should be fragile with massive firepower. Foehn units are tanky as hell AND have massive firepower.

Doesn't that kinda make them powerhouses.......

Isn't that what soviets are supposed to be......

Seriously guys?

Ok, The only "tough" thing that Foehn should have is it's infantry since that's the only they actually like focus on idk etc.

Not tanks, defences, buildings, planes, navy - The "toughness" aspect should not be applied to Foehn as they already have they highest firepower in the game so why make them tough too? That gets rid of the benefits of Soviets.

Foehn is like Soviet 2.0

Sorry for posting this here it's more like a suggestions post.

Their MBT is medium in every regard

That's Rhino, not Cavalier. :p
Cavalier is a reversed Lasher: good in prolonged battles instead of short tank vs tank skirmishes.
While it might not be as good in large army battles (especially vs Lashers, which excel at that), they are much better vs structures and for base killing. Simply because their increased rate of attack is almost always guaranteed to trigger vs structures.

I do agree with Alstar about EA. They bring nothing really great in a multiplayer battle aside from chronoing 9 prisms into the back of someone's base. Otherwise you are inclined to turtle in big stalemates, especially in 2v2 and 3v3s. Their MBT is medium in every regard, Mirage Tanks work the best when standing still in a large group, which is technically a forest of Tank Destroyers. And then you have Charons and Thors. Charons are probably one of the most microintensive units in the game, correct me if I am wrong. And Thors are great support and aa units. So overall not the worst faction, but not very good either.
However, ea does work as a great PVE faction, judging by the number of coops with them. :) Their units are great for that. Kiting with Cavaliers, Prisms against infantry and so on.

I am surprised no one voted Haihead yet. I love Haihead, but I find myself in quite a pinch at times with them at t3, sitting like: how can I win? And do not say because of madman, because that would be a short answer. :p

I will not cast my vote yet. I have not played enough 1v1s to judge about that

You see pal, MADMAN is not always supused to be an anti-base weapon... try to lure your enemies larges armies against one with your jackals+miners+cyclops team and see how they lost like $20000 credits on units in a flash. You could sacrifice some confusion rays (two or three) to make sure at least some units don't escape. Just look out for EMP and Chrono units.

Honestly, I was joking, Foehn deserves a really bad nerf, they're just too good.

well. we seem to have consensus. Euro Alliance, psicorps are UP, and looks like foehn needs a hit with the nerf bat. hard. and epsilon HQ there as well.

Here is my analysis, however good it may be: Euro: so they got snipers, and the coordnode. the problem is they still have as many problems with tanks spam as before. and you cant use coordnodes offensively, so that leads to stalemate. Snipers are nice, but underwhelming in the face of armor. It would be nice if they could teleport little packages of base defenses within the map. like say, a pillbox, 2 turrets and a coordnode in a little square. Kinda like a boidmachine: long cooldown, needs warpshop (high tech), expensive, infuriating to counter. or maybe they could get multiple packages of defenses, or maybe a unit that deploys to give a tiny build radius. (kind of like a Stalinis fist. can only build 1 and literally the build radius will be one square all around. this should stop grand cannon cheese.) And raise the RoF for charon tanks.

psicorps: the Gehenna uses air to air scripts which work badly to my understanding. buff damage of the drone? range? dunno. magnetron needs some help.

HQ: NERF RAHN. AND THE GIANT ******* ******* THAT BELONGS IN A ******* BUCKET ALONG WITH **** FROM... heheh, sorry. what I was trying to get at is nerf the flying saucer. you know, the big one. the air to ground balls of death should not be able to home on your troops. that is just stupid.

foehn: nerf harbinger, bomdmachine cooldown goes up, and its firing delay goes up, make shaderay better agianst air but worse agianst ground units, and lower the armor/health of knightframes they are way too good agianst t1 infantry. gives foehn way too much rush potential.

To those who think russia UP: tesla tanks bub. use em' woflhounds just antiair now.

I find Last Bastion really underwhelming. All tanks seem to have no effect, and the walls(that are talked about beings stronger) are not. Ontop of that, the mines do absolutely nothing good(just like the EMP mines). I just find LB pretty damn underwhelming with no upsides.

LB is abazing. LB has Giant/Godsbanes, which are ridiculously OP. A squad of Godsbanes will destroy any and all ground vehicles in moments, and buildings too. The tanks have kinda bad firepower, but they are very hard to take out, and with some microing, they can soak up ridiculous amounts of damage. Uragan is like the Irkalla, maybe even better. He has huge AoE, and can decimate lots of carelessly managed air units at once.... once when I played against AI I lost 8 Wolfhounds to a single plasma salvo. And finally, there's the Gharial, which is like a Borello on steroids, and the Sweeper, and Sweeper Drop support power. They are great for area denial, and are basically mobile base defenses, powerful ones, I might add. I just don't understand how LB could such with all these.
