That's all because ridiculously fast construction, like you can build/train units in seconds.
Any C&C games don't explain detailed logistics.
Third World War happen so unrealistically quick

Wrong. Tiberuim Wars had explained it, but they (GDI) took sometime until they flush the NOD back.
Logistically it do hasten construction and getting forces in less of days. But we are speaking in not in gameplay terms here, but lore-wise. Most fights will still last longer due to stubborn defenses and the enemy obvious can recover a bit as they try to fend off the enemy. Furthermore, in said game they took 2 years especially when the aliens appeared too.

I think it's perfectly reasonable. Only the invasion of the USA would be considerably long-term, but this is hand-waved off with the existence and usage of the Psychic Beacons/Amplifiers.
An actual World War Three in Europe would have been over in a couple of weeks, tops. And that's without Nuclear weapons.
Or a month, because the EU was a stubborn mule to let Ruskies do their way. (See Coop Missions)

Most wars are settled with a few key battles.
Also, USA lost their nukes, EA lost their balls (EVACUATE, let me pop Eiffel because I can), and Pacific Front lost their mind (wtf ally with China lol omg huehuehue).
For them to survive till Act Two is a miracle.
For prolonged warfare, there is the guerrilla. You want guerrilla warfare? You want guerrilla warfare?

I'd rather have gorilla warfare. Then again, that's Huehuecoyotl.
On the other hand, the Allies are really starting to be badass in Act 2. And kinda insidious too. Like "ask help from the civilians, use them for the bio reactors". I was like "wtf dude".

THIS.
I was like "WTF, you want to make human batteries out of the civilians, you know?"
Btw. I always had a feeling, that the civilians have worse life in Red Alert universe, than the Soviet Conscripts. Especially in MO. :v

Even USA lost their nukes, got nuked and got a beacon too many times. The Americans are stubborn with a capital F for Freedom.
I forgot the quote from Yamamoto stating about invading the USA... But you got the picture.
