yes, I know but think about how much easier it is to play Russia vs how easy it is to play Confeds. To get the most out of Confeds, you must have a high skill level, whilst to get the most out of Russia you do not need to be skilled at all (relatively), so either Russia is OP, or Confeds perhaps require a buff?
Also since when is Soviets about "intense kiting"

What?
Only thing that can be remotely considered OP as of right now is Volkov and Chitkoi, otherwise I don't see how the entire russian arsenal requires little to no skill to use.
Also, who said soviets was about intense kiting?
All I'm stating is that the Catastrophe has quite the mobility compared to other T3 monster tanks while also packing quite a punch, not kiting with it whenever possible, especially when it involves lancers, is just dumb.

Three to four lancers kills everything with armor in close range. This is why we have move commands, learn to use them. Confed is not weak at all. You don’t need higher skill to put a desolator in a Cata vs using overcharge on teslacruisers.
Also could someone insert that old quote Alstar dug up? It was something like “Jets are high risk high reward units.” I feel like that applies here quite well.

Major difference between T3 Russia and Confeds is adaptability. Russia have units that can work well in teams with other units or alone, while Latins are forced to adapt their T3 tanks to dangers on the field. Enemy getting a bit more air? Shove that Flak Trooper inside. Robotic forces? Tesla Trooper. Mixed unit comps? Desolator.
Russia can rely on most fo their T3 to do the job, while confeds have to cover it up with several versions of single unit - Cata.

+ buff: Catastrophe strength increased from 550 to 610The buff is to health, and the change is justified as Catastrophes die easily to be fair, however maybe to make it fair, the damage should be decreased
But seriously though, Catas dying easily? I cant say I agree with that, especially when you consider support powers and the fact you can garrison an all purpose infantry unit that will pretty destroying everything that isnt a robot while inside said Cata.
But I digress, haven't played 3.3.2 in a while so god knows what's been going on

Lancers can kill any tank in the same exact way, it's just how they are...
I'm an LC main and I've played multiple 1v1 matches in the past 3 weeks just so I could see what else could be changed, I tried flaktastrophes against all the air unit dependant factions and they all worked fine. The catastrophe right now is in a perfect spot where it is the monster tank of LC with multiple uses but still doesn't outshine or make you not need any other unit in your arsenal, it's just fast enough, just strong enough just powerful enough to put it in that perfect spot, and the only time you would feel it being absolutely useless is a matchup against coronia because not only do you need flaktastrophes but also can't use desolators anyway because road runners are immune to them anyway.
The sole reason LC was considered weak was their lack of useful AA (now with vulture and flak cannon buff I hope it's enough) and catastrophe rockets never really did Much to pteranodons because the rockets are too slow to hit them, but if you targetted a kirov or a Thor with it for example it will shred it in seconds.

The thing about confeds is they rely a lot on catas and the current version lacks the strength to fully serve its purpose.
Besides, there are plenty of tools to deal with that extra hp
Comparing to China or Russia I can already think of various ways to deal with a heavier cata
Epsilon? MC still in the game, PC the best option but it is not like others can't do anything.
Allies? nothing new, maybe one or two additionals hummingbird, a more cautious approach and emphasis on keeping IC down.
Now when it comes to foehn the only problem I can imagine is tesla-catas doing too well against megalodons considering HH nerfs, but none will drop a tear for HH... just joking

Just so you know, LC is supposed to be a fragile and versatile faction, NOT a heavily armored faction.
And Catastrophes can gain quite the firepower from Desolators being garrisoned in them, so making em tougher for no reason? No thanks.
Don't mind me, I'm just pretty broke nowadays...

I still think that LC is the most fragile among Soviets. But you also have to remember that Soviets are supposed to be the powerhouse faction. Andconsidering Jaguar Assault Tank, Bomb Buggies, Vultures and Buratinos, they surely are the most fragile among Soviets.

I think it will be this Friday night.
It will be released most possibly on friday evening as people have more chance to test the mod themselves on weekend and give some immediate feedback.
