not sure if anyone else has noticed this, but the squads act exactly like an angry mob i tell them to attack, but at least two members of the squad just run up to the target and do nothing, also i'm not sure if this is meant to happen or not, but the squads regenerate when a member of it has been killed

squads do act exactly like angry mob, cause I used basicly the same code... ZH doen'st offer many other squad options. The regen is on purpose... all infantry can heal in the game, so the squad can too.

Between now and the next polished release there should be very little new art work done. Instead the focus is on designing, testing, and fixing. the mod has always been so close to finished that its nearly criminal. I'd love to see this through to the end with a real community effort.

When playing as USA Air, I realized that after getting the engines upgrade, by raptors were faster than my auroras. I think that either the raptors speed should be reduced or the auroras should also recieve a speed boost from the upgrade, or both.

BTW: Is it possible to shoot down the B1's that fly in when you launch your superweapon?

When playing as USA Air, I realized that after getting the engines upgrade, by raptors were faster than my auroras.  I think that either the raptors speed should be reduced or the auroras should also recieve a speed boost from the upgrade, or both.

I just looked into the Aurora speed... its RETURN speed is slower than the Raptor, but its attack speed is more than double upgraded raptor speed. So sayeth the code.

Yes, the B1s CAN be shot down... this makes the stratiegic bombing unique... its the only superweapnon that can be shot down. They are just as tough as B2 carpet bombers though, and with 5 in the sky the AA guns have a really tough time dropping them. I'v seen all 5 shot down before, but not before they dropped thier bombs

When playing as China Flame General, after getting the land mine upgrade at the barracks, the button for building squads is no longer there.

I caught and fixxed all those... its any flame or infantry building with new units... I forgot to change the UPGRADED command set... its also why the AI won't build ceratin units. this has been fixxed and will be right in the soon next release

China cash hack doesnt seem to work against the GLA.

Also, its really annoying when you tell the squads to do something like guard an area and all they do is return to the barracks. And they don't seem to fire when you tell them to. They only fire after you click several times.

the cash have is a problem that goes back to Contra .03 I've not change anything on the hack or on the stash. the stash probobly just needs one line added to the KindOf to make the game see it as a supply center.

I've never once had the squad run back to the barracks... what general were you playing?

when contra .04 comes out and I port everything over to the new .big file I will not be taking squads with me. instead I'll be making squad button that makes 5 indeviduals, as per several suggestions. It will be easier and work about the same in the long run, but without the twittchy ai bugs.

the firefly(quad cannon replacement) when upgraded with silicon cloud remains and the a missile from the firefly is shot down by a laser from a microwave plane or ecm plane, the clouds appears and kills all planes

this same bug happens for the cluster tomahawk tank and any other collateral weapon

laser gen pathfinder when having the upgraded sniper rifle can shot down cannon shells (EX nuke cannon, inferno cannon)

the Berta cannot be effected by ecm plane

theres no way around the missle death thing. all "collateral" misles use ondeath commands to create the effects they do, but also keep in mind most of these misles would stil make the effect even if they were blown up early. such as the silicon cloud... the silicon is not going to go away because the missle got shot with a laser. sluster weapons can fall int othe same catagory... 1000s of clusterwarheads designed to be deployed by an explosion WILL be deployed by an explosion.

laser pathfinder bug has been braught up before in the Contra .03 bug thread and will be fixxed.

the Berta or any other super unit was intentionaly given ECM imunity by Creator when he made them. If they got disabled that easily they wouldn't be very super. there are hadfull of units that arn't really super anymore, like the neutron cannon or the smerch. i'm not sure if these still have ECM protection or not, but it is an easy fix if they do have it.

the hard isn't meant to be REALY imposible... just tough enough to give you a good fight and make you work for it. if all is balanced well you should loose about 50% of the time or so, depending on who you play as and against.

you can ecm smerchs and neutron cannons

you think airforce is bad vs infantry, but air is now really really good vs them, with the microwave plane, stealth fighter and C-130 paradrops

It happened when playing with the USA Laser, Superweapons and Airforce. But only the USA.

Happened in one game...

My Side: China Flame
Opposition (All hard): China Infantry, China Tank, GLA Assault.
Map: Whiteout

Bright white flashes appear whenever a nuke goes off whether you are over the target area or not.

This flash happens and in real life, and it can be saw at very far distances ! It is a graet effect to make the game more realistic...

I love the white flash... absolutly love it. I feel like it adds alot to the nuke, especialy in a mulitplayer game.

how much cash did you start with? I've found it odd, sometimes he refuses to build a warfactory... just refuses. then after 20 minutes of playing will start base building again.

Today I played Nuke Gen, found a bug :

when the Land Mine upgraded, the Iron Dragon Icon will disappear,

the same as the MIRV Icon of the Nuke Silo.

Maybe other china Gen' s airfield has the same problem.

Some time before I had taken out the problem, but I didn't know

what caused this.
