That can probably be done, or have 3 cropdusters, same model, different color, and each has a type of cloud (toxin, acid, silicon)

 

or make the crop plane whitout any toxin, geltin or acid and make all an upgrade, like an ad on component

Why not bombs ? :rolleyes:
Not crop dusters, you want to fight a FAFNIR with a crop duster ? a ery old fighter/bomber (mig) with two bombs would fit more.....

you don't fight a fafnir with it... you kill hundreds of infantry... NO lvl1 unit fights super units

Between now and the next polished release there should be very little new art work done. Instead the focus is on designing, testing, and fixing. the mod has always been so close to finished that its nearly criminal. I'd love to see this through to the end with a real community effort.

maby add that to, but it is to Doktor Thrax, i think the mig is over used.. maby an old british jetplane?

I dont have a problem... just not crop dusters

you don't fight a fafnir with it...

 

I meant it as a timeline...An automatized robot with gauss guns fighting an army with shermans, infantry with tompsons... YEAH STUKA diving bombers maybe :p ....its just not feeling that good, the distance between them :lol:

Thats the difference between insugants and soldiers. Its not that un-realistic. laser guided bombs vs home made explosives stuffed in a trashbag and left beside the road... to give Terrorists Tanks at all is a streatch of reality...

NOW, notice I'm NOT refering to middle eastern ARMIES... I'm refering to insurgents, terrorists, and gourillas. They are not the same thing. Few armies openly mix with terrorists and other crimilas, though many supoprt them.

Battlefield2 does a very very fair representation of middle eastern armies. they call it MEC (middle Eastern Coalition) and they have a very modern army with all the bells and whistles. they play on an even standing with everybody else... but the GLA as a terrorist group scrapping does not deserve the same justice. My intent is to seperate the Assault GLA off to be up to par with generic china. Other factions will get thier own adjustments to follow suit. Some will be more Gourilla skermish, others will be more modern.

There is no problem with the way it is done.
Meny mod installations don't work well they install but never uninstall proply and even after uninstalling u sometimes have to reinstall generals.
If its in a rar/zip file with all of the files in side set to the directorys they are needed then u only need extrat to your zh folder and it installed no problem, EASY

As i suggested in |Favourite Unit/Favourite General" topic, i like robots (and my fav unit is the assault mech, it kick ass with its lasers) so if you could use some mechs from the blue fire mod i saw some really really stunning mechs there, that would be lovely to see :blink:

he is using his own mechs :lol: maybe he might uses some from bluefire but i doult it.

Thats pretty much the case... somewhere else, sombody had braught up the same topic... there are models in BF that I would like to get, but the mechs arn't something I'm looking for.

Ok heres a wacky idea that i know wont be add'd or even if its possable but!!!
Could it be possable to make the demo gens terroest when not moving disguise(sp) as a tree?
Like the mirage tank in red alert 2.
If it is possably it would beee soo damn fun make a forest of them or place a few in a forest where the enermy would not think u are and boom evil killing

I agree it would be verry funny, just like the Demo air units are funny, but I'm trying to pull out alot of that and replace them with more serius units.

well i never really thought it would be added cos u said befor eu was going for the demo side to be more realistic yet still suicide stuff too.
I just had to say it tho cos it would be funny and cool.

is it possible to code multi layered bombs? such as multiple shockwaves beyond your usual two blasts.

take for instace a large number of particles being thrown in to the air at large radius moving three way inward to a central piont with then blast waves going out ward. Now that jsut to em seems liek a cool idea but i dont know if the generals platform will allow it cuz that to me would seem like alot of particles

Alot of FX can be made in the engine, but it does add up.

i tired coding one myself with alot of fire effects, i have a nvidia geforce 6200 (yea i know leave me be) and a 3.0 processor and it still had to slow down for but it only had about 4 levels of "explosions" then a grande finale...
