Technically we are all testers since the mod is in a beta albeit open (granted you provide some feedback). We just are not special enough to get into the alpha :( (Why is the public one not considered a beta?)

Also I suggest that you have them repair the link to remix under the C&C tab.

Current plans are to have no further public betas. The next version I release will be the first full version.

I know that no new version is coming out until you have reached whatever milestone you have set for yourself, but is there possibly a list of upcoming changes you will be implementing, or maybe some ideas that you're toying with and might want some polish on or a fresh take? I only ask because I've not seen anything new in the News section, and I figure if you wanted suggestions/input this would be the place everyone not currently associated to the project would post them. Anyway, let us know if you have some new units to set our creative focus on... with a few hundred pages of suggestions already, I'm sure we can come up with more if we weren't so "in the dark".
Ugh, why can't you just DIE? Seriously.

Due to exams and projects I have not had any time to work on remix. Unfortunately means that I have not had time to come up with materials for any updates. So no there is nothing new right now.

What are your plans for Remix? to take over where Pend left off and finish it? or revise it or something?

Please tell about Remix future! :p

The first release will have very little in the way of modifications to the sides already done. The remaining GLA sides will follow the original plans closely but not exactly (mostly due to incompleteness and redundancy). The system changes I posted in the news section will been the main changes to gameplay.

The second release will include the new generals and will be where the revising will begin. Revising will mostly be limited to removing unnecessary redundacy and bringing the sides to par with the new sides. As they are, the current sides will be at a disadvantage in a couple of areas to the new sides.

The revising will not have a major impact on gameplay. It will likely be things like splitting one unit into two if I feel it covers too many roles, the style for each general will not change but you may be forced to use more or different units.

Its not, but I'm not going to put any effort into convincing you of that.

WE WANT NEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEWS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Once I get something that I want to post then I will post news. Right now the two main things I have been working on are not in a state that I can show them yet (and there is nothing to really show for the merging of the factions). However i can say that the Assault unit/structure list has been expanded beyond what the topic in the screenshots section shows. I may update that over the next few days.

And posting in all caps is not going to get you news any faster.

The new generals have not yet been completely finalized, so it is premature to post anything about them now. However I can tell you that I don't intend on including them in the first release.

Is there any way that the link to remix 3 under the C&C tab can be fixed?

The links go to websites, since remix doesn't have one it cannot be fixed.

Couldn't it just be linked to the forum since there is no website?

Also, is there any mapping need? I have done fairly well with mapping, and as long as it installed correctly this time, I would be willing to toss together maps. For campaign, I could create maps, though I do not currently know any of the scripting for setting up triggers or some other campaign type map elements, but I can probably learn that quickly enough if needed.

No mapping will be needed until I start messing with general's challenge, but I have no idea when I'll get to that.

Well since you are still in the process of creation, and some generals need a few stuff, plus the new generals that will be in the second release, i can help you with concept art. If you know any people from the mods untitled, european coflict, unleashed, generation x or forgotten furry then they can tell you about my skills. I made alot of concept arts for them ( you can see me in there team as Anubis ;) ) and to be honest i'm a big fan of remix mode so i will enjoy working for this one alot. Also i can help you with bug hunting and stuff like this for current and future devs. If you are interested let me know. Good luck with this awsome mode!

So you're aiming to release it with generals challenge fully functional? Sounds awesome, but i think many of us would survive with functional skirmish/multiplayer :)
