hmmmmmm ok

but wat the main point that is coming out from the last couple of discusions is that there should be a new sniper, or anti tank gun in the game, as an upgrade for a faction.

i think you should consider these, and check out which one you like best and decide wether to put it in game.


Yes, there has been alot of talk about an Anti-material rifle for snipers for a long time, even before the last few posts. I'm not 100% sure, but I think either Infa China or Stealth GLA actualy has one with Contra.04, but from the amount of talk its obviously not enough.

I've never cared to much for the EMP sniper rifle with SupW, it could be replaced with an AP rifle, and the laser rifle could be made to damage vehichles.

Not all snipers should get this upgrade though... I think the ones that can kill drivers are quite strong enough already.

Between now and the next polished release there should be very little new art work done. Instead the focus is on designing, testing, and fixing. the mod has always been so close to finished that its nearly criminal. I'd love to see this through to the end with a real community effort.

well emp sniper rifle i think is only good in some situations i seen my friend manage to live using them in emergancys cos they buy time.
But i really liek to see them have a switch for fire mods' AP and EMP.

Lazer snipers should be able to damage tanks too. lazers do not damage same was as bullets they cut using massive heat energy so it like armor woudl be effected.

but when i gave my suggestion before about the reagan tank, you said "the RA laser tank for Laser USA ", is this in contra 4, or 3.0 or will be in 3.0 remix?? and what does RA stand for ?? and also the "longarm", will it be in contra 3.0remix, or is it in 4.0 or 3.0??

one other thing, some 1 plz tell me,

the stuff on the main page, like the tarantula and AMOS, is that going to be in contra 5 ? or 3.0 remix. and will 3.0 remix have new units and the same stuff in contra 4.0 ?

Ok, the Ra and the Long Arm are for Remix3... notice you ARE positng in the Remix3 suggestion topic.

Remix3 will include nearly everything from Contra.04 and much of the new stuff from Contra.05

So will you give the RT-20 to GLA.
It is still the strongets anti-material rifle there is and it is cheap to make one.

if we talking bout ra units then there is only one ground tank that was god....
PRISOM TANK ftw :lol: lol
In groups nothign could stop them..... apart from a kirov or some airunit lol.


O and i just thought. For the dem general could u make a 2 man fire team carrying this around the battlefield. You could use a russia or german version of this from the site. but i don't think it matters.
If so make them have to deply before firing and it could be say a very lite mobile defence they could set small sandbags round them? what u think?

Thinking about it maybe u could make each gen have some form of this. for exsample.

stealth gen can train a 2 man team carrying radar jamming equipment, this when they deply make a small area on the radar that becomes blind. Like a gap generator? also acts like an erly warning site.

the other teams i can't think of an idea right now too tired but fwhat u think? all would be a mobile deployable infantry team of 2.

i think that infanty team is a gd idea btw, and like the gardian GI's on yuris revenge, the tank hunters should get a base thing which makes them uncrushable.

just thought of another thing which could be included in 3.0remix

one thing that is really annoying, is how slow the tanks are, for most sides, apart from china, becasue they have nuclear tank upgrade.
could you plz in clude a speed upgrade for the other factions aswell, as it is annoying, waiting for your tanks, or heavy units to trundle half way up the map to destroy ur enemys superwaepon, and by the time they get there, the timer for the supaweapon has gone like 3/4 of the way.

also for the cyber general, :p :)(fav american general) could you include some more light attack mechs, like the wolverines from tiberian sun. they are quick and have duel machine guns, for protection as they scout.

and plz, plz have an option to turn off the fact you have to gain rank 5 to build superweapons and heavy units, as it is so annoying, if you just want a quick battle and to see what they do. it is so annoying :/

but ne way, good work so far ;)

there are alot of new mechs in remic 3 and also the america factions are all but done apart from small balanecing issuses once all the teams are done. possably.

and the rank system is kinda changed in remix it is quicker than gaing rank points but it still takes sometime. It actuly to make the game more of an indepth and stratigic game play.

earlier you said there is 2 way to dl this mod the more graphics fx for the best machine and normal fx for slower pc i hope you remember that bec. in last remix is very loggy

u must all remember america sides have been done. maybe a few tweeking here and there but i don't think pend is planing on giving them anything new or changing anything.
He is finishing the china side and starting on gla. Most of the last changes to america and all factions will most likly be balancing out the powers of units and such.

I've been a way a few days... I just got back in town. My interview monday went extreamly well, but I'm still waiting on the official word on it. Theres going to be alot of mayhem if I get the new job, and I'll likely be going over seas alot.

I am still working on Infa china. I also did alot of very very small tweeks and even some un-tweeks for things that didn't work as well as I hoped.

I've got the full unit list planed out, and have almost all the needed models. First chance I get I'm going to try and wrap it up on china. I've just had more real life than usual going on. Its been 4 days sense I even touched a computer game.


btw RA tank was named after the egyptian sun god... RA... makes sense for a giant laser tank to me :p

wow, sounds cool, cant wait to play. GLA dont need much, there pretty crappy ne way, apart from chem general......he owns. best GLA one.
