A better powerplant for china (like in RA2 for russia)


Um no thanks, nuke gen already has the advance powerplant, adding another powerplant to them would make that pointless. Also i think it is laser but it might be the sw gen has the advance powerplants, 1 of them produces more power than the other ones if i not mistaken.
Also imo it would be unbalanced.
Chian would need half as meny powerplants taking up less space making them able to get more nukes, war factorys, infantry barracks and airfields... And More importently not asting time and using that free dozer to build other things.

Another powerplant imo is not needed.

Well with the advanced powerplant... theres like the balancing issue.. in which china buildings/defences require more power?
As to USA, both laser and superweapon have advanced fusion reactors, although the SW has a +5 (total of 20) output on laser (total of 10) - laser has +5 on airforce and robots if not mistaken

I'm not sure about laser, but SupW does have some outragous power production. In comparison I'd say Laser needs the strong reactors more than SupW.

I am seriously considering doing the reactor idea I posted somewhere else after someone had suggested a RA2 Super reactor.

The idea basicly being:

Laser general and SupW general both start with NORMAL upgrades on thier power plants.
Laser can have a second upgrade on the power plant to change the yellow glow to blue glow.
SupW general can have a mid/late game Super Reactor.

The nice thing about both ways is it gives the extra power when its needed, and is unique. Laser general can advance his power gradualy as his army gets bigger. SupW can build super reactors at about the same time the super weapon farming starts.



China doesn't need a super reactor. Nuke china already has Advanced reactors and all china reactors can overcharge.

GLA obviously doesn't need advanced reactors....

hey pend, when u release remix 3, can you put it in a .zip file aswell as of a .rar file please?

when I release the final versions it will be available in both formats.

BUT... you should seriously look into winrar. The archives are much smaller and the winrar tool is much better than winzip. Rar files are growing in popularity just because of how well they work.

Its in the same size and power bracket as an overlord. Its not identical, but its an equivilent.

Is it better than an Emperor? No tank but the Shaitan should be able to beat the Emperor.

I don't thnk it can. It can hurt one pretty bad, but the emperor is alot bigger and does more damage, especialy with a strong upgrade turret. Thats not even counitng all the tank general tank upgrades, reload time etc...

The USA laser heavy tank shouldn't be able to be the emperor? guess I forgot to mention that about five heavy laser tanks can easily crush a tank gen assult, overlords, battlemasters and even shaitans included. (thats based on AI version 1.89), they have minor trouble before upgrades, but after, theres no question about it. They won hands down. I can't quite recall the two maps I played on, but i do remember one had two choke points, and the other was free fold with no choke points at all.

And the USA powerplants, I like your proposal. Not so sure about the whole advanced thing that I was on about.. that might just be for the original ZH :p

Are u kidding?
The shaitan is by fair too weak to be worth using, I not really play tested it much yet in this version, but it has always had a targeting bug that made it just un-playable as it was doom'd from the start.

Also the turret turns so slow and it moves so slow, its worthless.
1 emperor with sniper cannon upgrade could pawn the shaitan or take it down to red zone, 2 emerors would pawn it even harder.
And what about the sweet chimera(sp) tank? that is a demon!!!! NOTHING can replace them, there not very fast but there firepower and armor sure as hell make up for that, 1 of these with the add'd anti tank upgrade and a sniper cannon addon and any armor unir will die hand down.

I've made alot of progress lately. I town't be too long until I have the China Alpha ready to play.

Alpha, I agree the laser tanks can murder an enemy tank rush, especialy at ta choke point, but I think in a one on one the Emperor would take it. I've not played around too much with it though.

so what are the sides with working ai and what ones are actuly hard?
gla all work apart from assult gen, and i guessing teh cyber gen now has it aswell right?
so any others, and are any of them ment to be l33t yet?

God i'm about to giving up playing this damn game.
Damn EA retards released a stupid lame game and they just didnt give a damn about fixing it.
If CnC 3 suffers same issues then i wish they die.Plus i won't buy any more EA games. :D

Hey pend could u make the airforce commanchis not fire them targeting drones automaticly, could u make them like rocket pods manulay fired, as i near had a few buildings destryed all because of a sneak and attack and all my bombers following that targeting drone >.<

and idk if this been said before or if it possable BUT could u make the aircrafts target tanks/vehicals before they target infanty or stop the planes from attacking infantry all together.
Leaving only the microwave plane and ac150 able to hit infanty, just feed up of having missles wasted on a damn infantry when there is plenty of tanks to choose from.

o just out of curiosity, could u make the planes with a 4 ammo count only fire 2 on a pass before turning to fire the next?
this would conserve there ammo instead of wasting all 4 on a target that only needs 1 or 2, will also mean when u have air patrol on if 2 or 3 jets attack same target they will each have 2 missiles left.


edit: then u may aswell stop playing all ea games now prozak because alot of ea games are shipped with bugs that they don't fix or never notices, and please SIGN up for the forums

Well, look at it this way... ZeroHour, BFME1, BFME2, C&C3 all use the same engine. ZH, BFME1&2 all have the exact same AI mismatch and crash bugs. they also all share the same EA online connection problems. What do you think this means for C&C3? Honestly, I'm not going to buy it. End of story. I'm finished with this whole game engine as soon as I finish Remix3

Targeting from the drones doesn't force other units to use that target. all it does is grant range bonuses to units who share that target. It didn't cause your bombers to engage, they did it because they could SEE the target. spotters don't effect unit detection range.

This really can't be cured. My suggestion is that you should use alot more stelth fighters. they excell at killing infantry and can help keep the field clean when your Raptors arive looking for tanks.

Planes that stay for a second pass spend MUCH longer in the target area getting shot at. A longer stay in danger means less chance of survival. There are a few planes specificly designed to stay in the area and keep a lasting pressence. AC-150, A-10, and IronDragon
all do a good job. Other than planes with staying power, all USA and China factions have choppers.

pretty much. EA owns everything and doesn't care about quality. They're steadily cornering the market so that instead of better games they can just make more games.

I just started to hate this freaking game. We haven't managed to finish not even one match.
Either mismatch error or Serious error crap.
This is ridiculous. It's a matter of 3-4 hours of coding for those EA retards to fix all issues and make us happy.
But they don't give a damn. It's like u said more and more games instead of quality
EA is like : eat as much as we can now and fuck later.

If u can't get a game of then don't play the AI play a friend.
Pend the 4 missle 2 pass's idea is more aimed at the f44 :) cos they are stealthed near enough always.... unless a radar vehical is near by.

ps: I really should build some ecm or f117 for infantry killing but i soo lazy ....
I always just thinkg fuck it i let the infantry die by my defences or ground forces, letting my air teams dish out the damage to there armoed forces while also attacking there base with bigger bombers.

And yes pend the ac150 pawns as i knew it would and is by far my most fav aircraft i use that for everything :D

Pps: o btw the gla modluler defences the ai dose not upgrade with any, that would need fixing.
O and world of advice cyber general will hand your ass to you.

o and thank u pend u made me cry..... CnC3 is on same engin :( our u possative? cos damn now i don't wanna buy :(
