Omg...we get now mismatch errors more often with 1.90.
Also please playtest the following. Play you(china for testing) with an ally(we got air) against a cybernetic general(hard ofcourse) and the game will definetely crash by the time u start to attack.
we played over 20 games and we havent managed to finish not even one!

You will have to wait for a long time for that to happen. He will put it on modtoaster when remix3 is done (and that may take a while).

Its the ally ai that does the crashes becose it cant build the units it wants.

Are you using ANY AI other than Robot USA? The other AI's havn't been worked on at all and will likely cause a crash. ONLY the Robot USA AI is functional at this time.

I've not multi-playered 1.9 yet, I've been working on some AI querks, but I've played more than 20 hours of multi-player with 1.89 and had NO mismatches and only 1 crash. Even the Normal AI (1.90) played for 11 strieght hours in ONE match without crashing (single player, AIvsAI).

I'm not sure what's causing your crashes, but none of them have happend on my system, and I doubt its posible anyone has spent more time on it than I have.


As far as Mismatch errors with 1.9... I don't know, it might be a bad compile.. that happens often (thus the AI patches) but it hardly matters I've rolled the AI back to a slight older build (between 1.89 and 1.9) for something completely different, but if 1.9 does have a crash problem then it would be gone with the roleback.

If your problems with 1.9 contenue, try using the 1.89 AI with the 1.9 .big file. Also, if your playing across the internet, make sure you always use Hamachi. Once my friends and I started bypassing crappy EA games we got MUCH more stable connections and our missmatches went down to a quarter what they used to be. It also cured all the problems we had in trying to start a game.

Don't worry... found the fix.. its needed the 1.89 AI script :) ... okay.. gonna get back to you on the whole Airforce vs Robot game... so far its kicked my butt twice... >_>

It shouldn't need the 1.89 script. It has a newer, tougher version. I'll double check the 1.9 upload.

The 1.90 AI is supposed to be harder than 1.89? :p fun 'n' games!! now i get to last about 2mins (jk- I'll last longer than that :D)

The only major difference is that it builds a slew of infantry in the early game to defend its base from rush attacks, and it includes more infantry with its attack waves.

Once I get the next minor AI tweek pack done I'll upload them.

Um... not all, just a select few who, depending on who pend decides to give them out to.

Pretty much. I normaly only share the link out when someone has been extreamly active in the forums for a long time. On a few occasions people have searched pro-activly and found the link themselves. I don't hide it, I just don't blast te link out open.

I normaly keep an eye on how many times its being downloaded. If it ever ramps up to more copies than I want shared I'll password protect it all and bar public access...

Well.. when I played last night, it kinda gave me about 5mins.. then launched an offensive of which i killed about half, and then my base kinda got overrun :p



It should start with a small skermish force, just a few drones, then a few Apaches, then the first real attack with artillery, tanks, and choppers.

If you make it past that wave it comes in with the the HK robots and more artillery. then it comes in with Spiders and artillery. Around that same time, if it goes Farmer mode, it will start mass building Tomahawk storms and keep a steady rain comming down while it runs its attacks.

You are not following me. I dont say its hard but when the time comes FOR US TO ATTACK and start to rape that hard AI the game crashes.


I've seen the Hard AI gut each other. Its no different than when a player does. It doesn't crrash on my system. Theres no magic script that kicks in when the AI is loosing and causes a crash. I've played more than 100 test rounds start to finish and never seen it crash like that. only once in a blue moon will it crash, but only when I have 7 hard AIs in game togeather, and I think thats just the unit count crashing the game. the Generals engine has never been stable with large unit counts.

I've got a half dozen other players testing it on a daily bases, and none of them have had this problem.

im new the forums so this is probably a stupid idea but
i think a really good 1st lvl nuke general upgrade would be an upgrade for the nuke tank hunters to move faster
i love to use a bunch of the guys but they seem to take forever to get anywhere and to produce.
just a thought i have no idea what you would call it. and it probably to late for any sugestions anyway but there you go.

love the mod by the way keep up the good work!!!

What can i say... We Melted yesterday trying to finish off for once the game but still no work...
Can anyone test it plz?
It does make difference letting two AIs play alone.
And as u said before Pend, the only working AI is robot's gen.

Not a suggestion as such, but laser general level 1 repair. The short cut doesnt show at all. not in the command center, and not as a shortcut on the side either.

The nuke tank hunters in remix3 are a late game unit. Nuke china starts with standard tank hunters and later gets access to the super powerful nuke hunters. I love the unit, but it was WAY to powerful for the begining of the game. 1 nuke hunter could whup on almost any standard tank, even anti-infantry tanks were chopped up fast.

Only Robot AI works, but I pit Robot vs Robot while I play anything else.

Last night with the 1.9 my friend and I had 2 rounds crash like what you described. I uploaded a new AI file and we didn't crash again. We did get a mismatch near the end of the last game, but theres nothing I can do about that. the crahses aren't cause by bad scripting or coding. They're caused by bad compiles. Only worldbuilder is to blame for this. When I saw a crash I recompiled and uploaded again.

try the AI fix 1.90 v2. It worked well for us last night.

Also, if you ever feel its too easy, try a smaller starting cash. It makes a HUGE difference.

Have you tried the 1.9? The apaches with laser point defense isn't invincible anymore. Cyborg Rangers and Stormtroopers can shoot air with thier machine guns. Also the AI builds alot more infantry, especialy in the early game. The update rounds Robot off really well and also adds the new units to Airforce general.



The round I played last night was a blast... I was Nuke, my friend was SupW, we managed to corner the AI into its base and I built retaliators and a barracks where it was about to build its main expansion. It was a gory fight trying to hold it in. We were able to keep it locked in until we got enough money for Tech2 and super weapons, and I had just gotten my nuke ammo upgrade (ass whuping time). I had about 20 artillery units bombarding his base from a cliff edge when it missmatched, but I walked away happy because we had effectivly betten it to the turingin point in the game.

hey pend, i was reading an earlier forum thing, (soz this is a bit off topic) and you said you played bf2 and counterstrike. LOL hahah CS and CS source are the most realistic FPS ever, but there are gay people hu just lame out aND BE GAY and TK you. and bf2 is the most awsome FPS with vehicals, but there are lammmmmmme assholes hu tk just to get a chopper.
OK back to topic, why dont you add some of the units from BF2, like the anitiair unit that fires like 4 cannnons and missiles, and make tanks have a machine gun as well as a cannon, for infantry. i think the GLA should have the machine gun upgrade for the tanks, only on some, like the scorpian, and you can either have the machine gun or the ror the scorpian rocket.
? what u think?

That's what i was talking about Pend.
Whenever we tried to retaliate for good, the damn thing crashed and now we get mismatch errors.
One thing is for sure : before 1.9 there were none mismatch errors, only crashes. :lol:

Also i think that you should reduce the power of cluster missiles(both super weapon and mobile cluster launcer)

Yeah that gen power is pretty powerful, i would just nerf the damage a bit.
