I like super units. just they are so hard to get.....
I'd say to put them as stolen tech, to get any of them you need to infeltrate 2 of the 4 battle labs

Well, it's been a while since there's been any activity in the main forum here. Here's another cock-up for you. I was experimenting with the MakeInfantry logic (don't ask why, I just felt like it), and put a Technician-spawning warhead onto the Guardian GI's missile launcher. The problem was that I forgot to restore the original warhead later, and when I was playing a Skirmish, and had a pack of GGIs firing at a Kirov Airship, well... This was the result:

There were that many Technicians that they actually managed to decimate my base, and seriously lag the game. The problem was that because they were neutral infantry, my own units only fired at them if they actually were attacked themselves, so while these approx. 200 Technicians are destroying Power Plants, my Grizzlies and GIs are just sitting there, watching the chaos. Of course when the Technicians blew up a couple of Oil Derricks that they were all bunched around, it killed about 50 of them, so the game started to speed up again. I just made my Grizzlies squish them after that.

A video screw-up today. Since I've been editing the Ion Cannon, I was increasing the damage, but increased it too far. Here's the Ion Cannon decimating a Soviet Base in one shot. It's in SWF format, so you'll need Macromedia Flash to view it. Also, IE users, if you get an Information Bar alert, let it allow the ActiveX controls or whatever it says was blocked. The SWF is embedded in the html page so that it doesn't resize it and screw up the picture.

Not so much a screw up today, it kind of worked as planned, but this is another thing I was experimenting with in the game for no apparant reason. Anyway, we all know that the Tesla Tank and Tesla Trooper can have 'bouncing bolts' once they reach elite, like the Prism Tanks and their lasers. So, I took the Multi Missile from Tiberian Sun, and stuck it in the game. Then, I replaced the clusters with Tesla weapons. Then, I gave those clusters a shrapnel weapon, also Tesla. I then gave that a Tesla shrapnel weapon - you get the picture. I did that a couple of times, and this was the result, when fired against a group of Soviet troops.

A couple of seconds later, there was only 1 Rhino left, badly damaged. The Conscripts were gone, and the warehouse nearby was also gone.

There is actually a weapon like this already in the beta. If you make a random map using the RMG, and get a 'Tech Tesla Lab', capture it. It gives you an airstrike that drops a bomb like this.
