Now this, commander this is a weird update. You remember General Carville said Yuri must have been watching to many movies with the Floating Disc? Well I think the trend caught on with his followers. Under Yuri's absence, Omnicron made changes including this new addition to their "infantry" list is... the Raptor! They managed to use dinosaur DNA to restore this creature but also mess with it a bit as well making it able to spot Spys and cloaked units. Very weird... but a good counter to our dogs none-the-less.

Another new addition to the Omnicron's infantry arsenal, that Gattling Warrior. It was only a matter of time before they got their anti-aircraft weapon onto a trooper. The only difference between this infantry's weapon and the tank or cannon's is this much more mobile version can't power up; it can only fire at one rate constantly. However, do not under estimate its ability to bring down aircraft, surely this only strengthens the enemy's defending ability.
Well commander, there is no good news but more bad news. Recently our scouts have reported that Omnicron has infact made all their gattling weaponry more effective, further range and more power. An Omnicron base is surely a no fly zone making aircraft useless unless backed up with ground forces.
Further more their Magnetron systems seem to be replaced with new ones. They seem to no longer have the capacity to raise units off the ground, but they now use a much more powerful heat weapon, burning holes straight through the toughest armour. Not good news commander, these units have also gained a boost in armour. The new weapon makes infantry swarming relatively useless as they can kill them before even the full heat beam reaches the infantry's face.

And their range is shorter, because they fire bullets. I can't complain - Gattling is still the best AA.

News just in Commander. It appears that Omnicron scientists have pushed their heat technology to a full. I fear the next few reconnaissance shots I will show you have been the reason why they have been attacking our primary research facilities, rushing in a few of their new Intruder spy's and in fact stealing some schematics in the process. Now, as I said they have made quite a lot of use of the heat tech (thought to be based on stolen Mirage weaponry) by modifying some of their primary units weapons. Here are two examples Commander, I hope your sitting down...
fig 1.
fig 2.
Surprising? Fig 1 is obviously the Floating Disc but not quite the weapon you and other Commanders are used to. This is a very light version of the new Magna-Inferno Weapons System (new heat beam weapons), basically a mini Magnetron. We think that the lack of heavier weapons is due to the weight capacity; the way it levitates leaves little room for weight and improving it would probably leave little in the old wallet. This new weapon does make it more effective against nearly everything, especially infantry. Now it appears that when this units gets to an elite status it is even more powerful than ever. Besides all this it still keeps the old power, or cash draining weapon that made it so infamous and useful.
Figure 2 is the most surprising of all. Omnicron has decided to replace their primary base defence systems with a rather strange yet powerful variant of the Magna-Inferno weapon. It fires a primary beam of heat which isn't all that powerful at all, but the rest of the power is focused into individual pockets of heat creating those rather splendid light show bubbles around the central laser, burning holes in the air itself. Whew, Einstein really has taught me a few things. After all this we can see why it is overall much, much more powerful than the old mind control tricks played by this tower in the last few years.
Sorry for this long lecture but the way our enemies are advancing is rather incredible, and scary. Onto a new infantry, well not all that new as it was seen in only a prototype stage very early on in the war when Yuri was still around.
Yes Commander, it is true, the "giant wasp" does exist, but know called the Parasite. We have all seen it in prototype form, rather useless it was, but now the project has been completed and these units have been unleashed onto the Omnicron training program. Yes, the Giant Wasp idea was from the fact these things can fly, seemingly based of stolen Rocketeer technology. The second reason is they have one hell of sting in their weapon, which is another heat one. Rather incredible is the speed and armour these things pack, while still having a great weapon. Unlike our Rocketeer, these units can land and walk around short distances. They are also slightly slower than our units, thankfully. At the moment these are being used for siege purposes and they are pretty effective at it as well.
This is the end of our briefing Commander, your on your own now, good luck.

Sorry for the long post but when I get ideas and get started i really cant stop.

About the Parasite cameo - perhaps you could change it, because it doesn't suit the unit 100% and it's very famous around the community. Othervise, great tweeks.

And i made those yesterday!
EDIT: Updated that image with a new cameo, very bland and boring and based off the concept art.
Wow Commander, Omnicron is really surprising us today. I just this second received word and pictures of the Intruder spy infantry i mentioned earlier today. It so far shows no real contest to our spies, though the Omnicron can simply mind control our units anyway. This strange little person shows a lack of any psychic abilities (though has been seen "hovering" for very short periods while idly standing around), it has been trained however, to perform intense data recovery from it's enemies. It has always been seen while Omnicron forces break through our bases and as far as we can tell cannot disguise itself at all. Maybe this is why it has been appearing only when they have a radar structure rather than a superior Battle Lab?
So, Commanders, we near the end of Omnicron forces briefing, only two more vehicles to go, the exciting new navy and one aircraft. Maybe, just maybe we will have a chance in the war if you know your enemies well...
HAPPY NEW YEARZ! XD
