That tower is an imitation of the railgun tower concept from MO.

BTW, this heat ray stuff, is it railgun logic?

Only the tower. The rest is laser except the Magnetron which currently uses the normal mag beam.

Another more cosmetic change here is the Kirovs death explosion. I thought maybe bits of Kirov blowing up would be nice. And edit of the second barrel explosion, but looks cool anyway imo.

Not bad, but i think it would look better if bits of the Kirov blew outwards from the explosion and burnt up... it may take alot of work but it would look sweet in the end :p

Only because post-WWI the Germans were banned from manufacturing helium, and the Americans refused to sell. Ironic that the Hindenburg blew up in America...
Kinda doubt the RA2 Soviets would've been under, let alone obeyed such rectrictions :p

No, the Kirov in the explosion stays the same size, but it is bigger than the actual Kirov. And now I have just realized how pointless that was if all vehicles are being remade. Its practice I guess. :p
