Yea, but remember only some suits can fly. The majority of them are ground bound (Bucue, Zuoot, Ginn, GuAIZ/R, Zaku, Strike dagger, and all batter powered Gundams)

Visually and functionally though, scale = hover, since scale allows for movement on water (and even underwater).

By the way, are you guys planning to implement variations of certain MS-types, like Jet Daggers or Cannon Daggers, etc?

scale on land is more like gliding on the ground, but it only works on sand or snow, otherwise the lesseps and the other zaft land BB use treads. But yeah it works for water too.

I'm sure both guAIZ types are flight-capable. Its just that usually they deploy more dedicated units to that role, ie Babi, Dinn. And batt-powered gundams...kinda bad generalisation...plenty of them can fly, like forbidden, chaos, aile/rouge strike, raider, noir, ageis(MA),etc...destiny and legend too, if they dont have nuke power, i dont think anyone has really clarified that in 1001 debates on the net.

oh and, what other type ginns are yo including? like the ground-type ginn(forgot name) with the axe and no booster?

The idea is eventually to put every suit we can possibly get in the game but chances are we won't get "all" of them. The Dagger105 is not a huge priority If your refering to the Dagger L then yes there will be a Jet Dagger L.

yes some battery suits can fly, I simply didn't want to list them out.

Ground type Ginn? are you refering to the Ginn Insurgent type from Stargazer or the Ginn Orcher (desert ginn). Axe? or do you mean the Zaku? All of which are going in the game.

Oh yeah now i remember the name, ocher. It has an axe/hatchet. Well, the 105 daggers were very prominent in seed. There were some in almost every battle last half of seed (like at orb and panama). And in stargazer there were the slaughter daggers, a 105 variant with aile strikers.

But, you guys run the mod, im just a new guy, so your pick.

Actually in seed EAF use the Strike daggers which cant use striker packs. The 105 dagger can and only apears in Seed Destiny at Havens base iceland.

Uh yeah, main unit was still strike dagger in seed. But they did have small numbers of 105 daggers in every battle after first deploying strike daggers. Like ORB, where Eleven Socius was deployed in a long dagger and a squad of 105s.

And there's morgan chevalier's gunbarrel 105 dagger too.

strike dagger and 105 are just two competeing designs for mass-pro strikes, they just picked SDs cuse they were cheaper and could build more, so they gave better pilots 105s.

Edit: Unless you guys are only putting in whats on screen, of course.

I wasn't sure, not too many people have seen alot of the Astray series and know the difference between the 105 and the strike dagger. Actually The dagger 105 is the complete mass produced version of the Strike. The Strike Dagger is the war time production version which is striped down, and dosn't have the laminate armour or striker pack hard points of the 105.

Its good to have another person around who knows about the astray series, and no we're not just putting in whats on screen... Take a closer look at my top sig's black suit. What it is I can't say but for an astray fan it should look a little familler.

True. They produced the 105s in greater numbers after jachin though. Along with striker packs. Mainly i wonder why they went with dagger Ls after that....perhaps they thought their pilots arent worth that much, OMNI's pretty big. Coordinators are in shorter supply.

And no, im quite sure they were competing designs. The components are vastly different, and they only had their similarity with strike in common. Although a clarification may be that they they were competed in committee not combat.

Another mistake, it wasnt eleven socious at ORB. It was jean carrey. Eleven socious stole a long dagger and went to Rondo in ORB, thats where i mixed up.

As for the ms in your sig...its from X astray rite? then im sure i reconize it.

It might have had something to do with the Dagger L not haveing laminate armour, and probly being cheaper to produce because of that.

LOL, ...... kind of :)

Edit: heres the description off mahq, It dosn't say clearly the strike daggers relation to the 105 dagger so I guess its open to interpritaion.

Although the Earth Alliance was slow to catch up to ZAFT in mobile suit development, it manages to produce several prototype mobile suits, such as the GAT-X105 Strike Gundam. The GAT-01A1 Dagger is a mass production version of the Strike Gundam. Because of the Alliance's need to quickly introduce a mass production mobile suit to fight ZAFT, they instead produce the GAT-01 Strike Dagger, a simpler, stripped-down design. Afterwards, production continues on the Dagger (nicknamed "105 Dagger" after the Strike Gundam's model number). Unlike the Strike Dagger, the Dagger can use the same Striker packs created for the original Strike Gundam. In addition, the Dagger features EMP (electromagnetic pulse) shielding, a feature lacking in the Strike Dagger. The Dagger is also coated with ablative gel similar to the Archangel class battleships, providing increased defense against beam weaponry.

I suppose. I just inferred from the deployment times that they were produced together.

Edit: btw, thats a really cool avatar.

Another Edit: So i was looking over MAHQ again today, and the MVF-M12A Ootsukigata caught my eye. A blue murasame with a rail gun and Hi-mat function. i think the only two squadrons of the things were destroyed by a zaku legend. And while on Astray, how about stuff like raysta, red frame mars jacket, delta astray(one big piece of crap)....maybe serpent tail and junk guild factions too, i noe you can put more than 3 factions in EAW.....
