for gothmog i think he should be able to summon a group of wargs just for a while. kind of like the elf summon and other summons.

yeah, I could see that... what do others think about that summons?

and is one of his powers train

Nope

Could one of the Rohan heroes be Theodred, the son of Theoden

\
While it is an interesting idea and I have thought about it; the answer is currently no, I am not planning on having Theodred in the game at this point. But as I have said before, I haven't worked on Rohan yet, so it is possible that if I needed more heroes I might add him in.

is one of Isenguard's heros wormtonge. or maybe he could be rohan if it is before the movies

Nope, mainly because I don't have a model for him. Though I don't think he'd make a good hero as he doesn't do much fighting.

it's very hard to get a bfme2 model to work in bfme1, there are several things that have to be just right for it to work. So most of the time that isn't a viable option.

well, to be honest, I have not thought about rohan at all. The little bit I have is just that which happened to come to me. Right now I'm trying to get all the mordor stuff finished first, then Isenguard, and finally Rohan (so that I can balance it with the rest). So the ideas you guys come up with here I may very well use.

When I get closer to doing the Rohan side I will start brainstorming about what to add in. And I'll try to make it just as "cool" as the other sides :p

So you all might not want to guess the rohan stuff as much as tell me what you think would be cool :)

in that case.

since you want to get rid of aotd. how about the aid of the fellowship. where it summons all fellowship heros that are not on Rohan's side. Aragorn, gandolf, Boromir, Legolas, Gimli, and Pippin for like a minute or 45 secs or something like that

It's an interesting idea and I will concider it, the issues would be if it is too powerful and do I want doubles of the hero characters running around. I suppose if it was too powerful I could make it just the three hunters... I'll let it simmer around in my head for awhile and let you know :p

On other news: YEAH! I finished Gothmog! *dances around room* I'm not going to tell you what his special powes are though, because if I do, I would ruin another big surprise :p

Yes, something like that. When bought, the power will allow you to buy many new units/heroes/buildings. It will completely change the late game mordor by opening up new variations of play. It will unlock the following things:

-WitchKing, Morgul Lord
-Gothmog
-Morgul Orcs
-Morgul Archers
-Morgul Riders
-Morgul Barracks
-Morgul Citadel
-Morgul Statue
-Morgul Walls/gate
(and maybe a few others too)

I'm not going to disclose much about the morgul units yet though. They haven't been finished and I don't want to tell you guys stuff that doesn't make it into the finished version.

is the gothmog's warg mount permament, or just temporary?

same as any other mount, he can get on and get off when ever he wants.

Update time!

4 of the morgul buildings are skinned and working in-game. There are 2 more left to do.

A new FX and power that I have been working on the last 2 days is very close to being completed, more on that comming up soon.

Here is an updated list of Heroes and the brief description of each side that I have been following:

Gondor:
Focus: Defense, Infantry, Small # of very strong Heroes

-Aragorn
-Legolas
-Gimli
-Boromir
-Faramir
-Beregond (Tower Guard Hero)
-Pippin

-Gandalf (Summons)

Rohan:
Focus: Average Units, many average heroes

-Theoden
-Theodred [requires something]
-Eomer
-Eowyn
-Hama
-Erkenbrand [requires something]
-Elfhelm [requires something]
-Grimbold [requires something]
-Gamling [requires something]
-Merry
-Frodo
-Sam

-Alatar (Summons)
-Pallando (Summons)
-Haldir (Summons)

Mordor:
Focus: Many weak expendable units, a few decent heroes with leadership

-Grishnakh (weak spy, replaces Gollum)
-Shagrat (weak orc hero but cheap)
-Khamul the Easterling
-Nazgul on foot
-Nazgul on foot
-Nazgul Fellbeast
-Mouth of Sauron
-Gorbag (leads Elite Morgul Uruks, nothing special) [requires Morgul Spell to buy]
-Gothmog [requires Morgul Spell to buy]
-WitchKing [requires Morgul Spell to buy]

-Gollum (???)

-Balrog (Summons)

Isenguard:
Focus: Small # of very strong units, small # of very strong heroes

-Saruman
-Lurtz
-Sharku
-Ugluk

-Balrog (Summons)

That is a basic view of my plans. There are a few things that I am thinking of adding, and a few that will probably be changed. I also have several new ideas that I'm thinking about that should be very interesting when done.

Yeah, but they won't be very strong individually. For example: Theoden and Gamling are old men... so they will be weaker and will rely more on leadership. The three hobbits aren't going to help much late game, and I don't think you start out with enough money to buy all three at once. Alatar and Pallando are the late game super summons, so you won't have them untill the very end. Eowyn and Grimbold are only so-so, not good but not bad. That leaves you with 6 strong heroes: Theodred, Eomer, Hama, Erkenbrand, Elfhelm, and Haldir...of which 4 require something, be it spell or whatever. And I will make sure that the leadership's don't stack up.

The end result should turn out well. We'll see anyway :p (also, if I have to cut out any units/heroes, you can bet that some of the rohan heroes would be on that list)

Haldir stronger than Theoden? :p I thought you were basing this on the books, and even if you were basing it on the films Theoden would still be stronger.

How come the leaderships won't stack? I can understand that it may overpower units, but units would tend to be more motivated if they had two of their great captains around them, as opposed to one.

Playing games? Ah, you'll never be a good modder if you get involved in actually playing them!
