Like when I'm about to sign off the he comes so I stay, but then he does nothing

that Galadriel won't attack buildings

well she does the animations and the sx happen it just doesnt do any damage.

Actually, she does. The problem is that EA fucked up the geometry on quite a few of their buildings (particularly the evil ones). Because Galadriel's attack is slightly ranged and is AoE, she attacks the edge of the "area" of the building, rather than the building itself. If you're finding she's not doing damage to a given building, move her closer to it, then try attacking again.

She's better for attacking units anyways, AoE is just awesome

i'll try it. I only played it once. i just built everything and sat around ranking up my heroes to see the killer powers so my first game didn't really have strategy i just noticed that they didn't have cheap melee units

i used to be the biggest turtle in aoe2 (my first rts game). When i first started i was scared of my units dying for some reason so i just hung around my base and i lost all the time. I changed after that

moral of story: dont hang around ur base (i am still not great at rts games, just average )
