P.S. I like the idea of them becoming a combo unit.

While I'll probably be using those faces to some extent, this isn't the concept I want to use for their armour/clothing (I actually used their armour concept for Legolas's breasplate). I'm also leaning towards making them both sword-only.For Elladan and Elrohir I think one of them should be an archer. These pics are from the movies, I hope they give you some inspiration: (Elladan with the bow, Elrohir with the sword)
They were images made by Weta for the Trading Card Game.those are from the movies? never seen that before.
A) Omg, peasant anims for Elves? Ewwwww!Personally I've found that peasant anims are good for 1-handed spearmen units, although you may have to be selective in picking which anims they can use.

Peasants would be more suited to Elves than Uruks would IMO, but I didn't know you wanted two-handed ones
*Thinks*
I can't think of any two-handed one that would be suitable for Elves. How about Gimli

Right now, Gimli is at the top of the list for animations. However, though I can easily fix the scale issue, Gimli's skeleton is rather squat... I should be able to modify this, but I'm not sure. We'll see.I can't think of any two-handed one that would be suitable for Elves. How about Gimli
That would be what RA's done with the twins... That and I only want Cirdan to be wielding two swords in my mod. Ideally, I'd like them to be able to toggle between on-foot and mounted when by themselves, and be forced to stay on foot when together in a "battalion". I've had bad luck trying to get things like this to work, so don't count on it.well, I would like one to have one sword, and the other one to have two, so you can easily see the difference

Nope, the Dunedain will be a summon for the Eriador Elves and possibly for Gondor.what about putting the Dunedain as a new unit to the Elves of Eriador?
It would actually fit, because Elrond is kind of a father for Aragorn II.
i would find that very interesting
like a very weak elven bow unit
