And that'd be right. Human rings were for domination (ironically enough) The dwarves to help acquire wealth, and the elves to create.

Ergo, sauron was playing off of each races desires.

I'd go with 2d3, 3d6, 1/2d7, 1d10, 14d12, 8d20, 13 quarters, and a groundhog.

I'm not sure if you'll need all that, but if you figured out a system from it, it would be the greatest in the world.

Playing games? Ah, you'll never be a good modder if you get involved in actually playing them!

To Taralom:
It was more or less fire in the spirit, so like enduring, blah, blah.
When Cirdan gave it to Gandalf, he said something about it helping sustain him through rough times. Or something like that.

Yes, no mini-factions. Half the mods hosted here now have or are thinking of adding them

I got an idea......wait, there it goes........

Personally, I can't figure out what makes mini-factions so "cool". I mean, seems like a fairly boring idea to me...

Edit: I noticed in one of the screenshots of the Forlindon Bows, it looks like the horse is in motion while the elf is firing. Will we be able to fire while moving?

I think Cel was going to try to put that in, as long as it doesn't get too OP :sad2:

EDIT: Looking at the renders, it does look like the horses are in motion.......

To confirm what Elvenlord just said (before he starts ranting on about how I'm a goddamn parrot :sad2:) yes, Celeglin wanted to try out mobile archery. To compensate, Forlindon's bows will have their stats reduced (I can't remember specifically which ones and by how much, and I can't be stuffed searching for answers :sad2:).

...Many folk like to know beforehand what is to be set on the table; but those who have laboured to prepare the feast like to keep their secret; for wonder makes the words of praise louder...

hopefully their stats won't be to weak, but they will miss like 1\2 times :sad2:
still, there are animations for that kinda thing, so I'm guessing that Cel wanted to use them for the renders :sad2:

It may seem like a fairly tiny change, but that opens up A lot of options when concerning strategy. Ambushes, hit and run attacks, decoys, the options are literally unlimited.

No, it is limited. I'm fairly sure they can't fly over hills and water :thumbsupsmiley:
:p
Seriously though, you're right. They will probably be the most....what's the word I'm looking for......unit in the game. Was it versitile? Hmmmm......not quite, but it's good enough.....

I found it! It was on page 23! It was the first one I looked at :p

Anyways, he's not likely to be added, Erkenbrand and Elfhelm would be added first, after them and if he's needed, perhaps. :thumbsupsmiley:
