EDIT: as I was talking about a few posts earlier, is it possible Cel to get some mappers from 3rdage to make Dol Goldur on Mirkwood into a stronghold like Helms Deep and Minas Tirith?
As zimoo said, that's more of a modelling/skinning job than a mapping job. Furthermore, there aren't really any mappers at T3A (maybe a couple). Finding good mappers for mods is a tough job.
Cool. It IS possible for you to make the campaign Mirkwood have Dol Goldur on a "stronghold scale" then? *drool*

Well what about summoning all three armies on the Black Gate mission? Just in shorter times.

If a Last Alliance mission ends up being possible (I would only be doing a Good version; as I said before, I have no desire to do any evil campaign stuff) heroes would probably include Gil-Galad, Elrond, Glorfindel, Cirdan (with some cool armor, of course :p ), Isildur, and Elendil. Possibly Oropher and Amdir as well (depends on how much I want to do with the mission). If the last two heroes made it in, I'd be making some Second Age wood elves as well..

What about numenorean armor for the men and doing the dwarves also?

Dwarves didn't take part in the Last Alliance. :p And sorry if I'm being too referential to Tolkien's work, but didn't Glorfindel come to Middle-Earth with the Istari after the war of the Last Alliance?

The naugrim were involved, just not in as big numbers as the Eldalie/Atani. Some fought on either side.

Playing games? Ah, you'll never be a good modder if you get involved in actually playing them!

and this would cause problems if you had the elven army attack the black gate, as the game might not be able to figure which army to summon

I would probably make the Elven mission areas completely separate from the Gondor/Rohan areas (so I'd have to remove the link between Mirkwood and Emyn Muil, for example). This way the Elves wouldn't be able to get into the Southern War unless I wanted them to.

Dwarves didn't take part in the Last Alliance.

QFT.

Actually, one of Tolkien letters states that Glorfindel and the Blue Wizards probably came earlier, during the Second Age.

Did he? I could've sworn I saw that he came with Gandalf somewhere...anyway, and about the Dwarves, where does it say that exactly (so I can look it up)?

A couple of Dwarves fought against Sauron (Durin and other Dwarves from Moria) and some Dwarves joined Sauron. But only a few Dwarves took part in war. You can find it in Silmarillion, page 358 (in my book).

Yes, some Dwarves joined Sauron. I don't remember did he have dwarven rings during the Last Alliance, but I guess he just promised them Elven riches. But Dwarves are interested in only one thing... http://tolkien.com.p...php?image_id=62

I imagine that the ones who joined with Sauron were likely the 'petty Dwarves' who seemed to go exinct after the War of Wrath.

In any case, I'm going to try redoing the Avari voices and tackle Glorfindel tomorrow. So hopefully, the next update of the beta, or final version (which ever is first) will have those.

I may even try and write up something for the scouts, since they don't have anything yet. But, that's kind of stepping beyond my bounds.

Write up something for the Scouts? You mean the Sentinels, don't you. Anyway, good to hear that the voices are in production.

Heh, thanks.

I'll certainly try my best. Part of the reason I hesitated to do him was (partly my unease with that mode of Elvish) knew that he was one of the most important characters and deserved a 'masterful' voice.

I've already done some recordings, but they're not sounding too good so far.

I'll persever.
