I have to add more to adummy's reply. In the game leadership refers to the hero's ability to inspire his lesser allies to excel in things, such as their prowess in battle (damage and defense). It also makes troops want to stand out among their peers, wanting to catch the eye of their hero/commander (refering to experience). And other types of leadership (speed, range, armour) all come from being inspired; soldiers want to ride as fast as their captain; they want to make an excellent shot; they want to fight to their last breath, all so they can recieve the acknowledgement of their superior. Excuse me for ranting on like this, but I just want to make something clear.true, it doesnt, but i dont think you fully understand the power of the spoken voice. Hitler killed millions are treated his own people like shit, but the way he spoke made them all believe he was leading them to a better life. It goes the same for a general in war. The way they rally their troops to fight will cause them to be more careful. True they arent gaining a 50% damage boost, but they are willing to risk more.Just because your standing next to such an iconic hero doesnt mean your swords become stronger than forged blades and such.
Anyway, this especially applies to the Peoples of Middle-Earth because they had some real iconic heroes (Gandalf, Aragorn, Glorfindel, Elrond [although he's not in the mod], Boromir, just to name a few). Saruman is a prime example of this: his power of the voice rallied many soldiers to his cause (the Dunlendings, for example). He even caused doubt in the minds of others, such as King Theoden. You should never underestimate the power of the voice. Even in real life there were some captains as great as those in Middle-Earth. Alexander the Great, Leonidas of Sparta, Achilles (I know mostly Greek heroes ) were some, and they were known for inspiring their troops with a single command, so to speak.
That makes sense. I agree with this.I think that a good amount of leadership bonuses should be specific. Too many general leaderhsips makes for a lack of strategies. Obviously, people like Aragorn, Gandalf, Theoden, and other great kings/leaders should have the general bonuses.
I think that's a bit off balance. Having general leaderships as half of the specialized ones isn't right, in my opinion. General leadership would come from iconic heroes *looks at rant he wrote up earlier*, so it would make sense that those heroes would give off a lot of leadership. My point is that general leadership should be equal to/slightly less than specialized.Specialized leadership should give out better bonueseeses while General leadership should give smaller amounts (somewhere in the 25-50s, while specialized have 50-100%)

...The Journey doesn't end here; death is just another path, one that we all must take. The grey rain curtain of this world rolls back, and all turns to silver glass. And then you see it. White shores...and beyond. A far green country, under a swift sunrise...
...Many folk like to know beforehand what is to be set on the table; but those who have laboured to prepare the feast like to keep their secret; for wonder makes the words of praise louder...

NO DONT SKIP IT BECAUSE ITS LONG!! I READ THIS QUOTE UP THERE, SHOULD SHOULD BE ABLE TO READ THIS!!!!
I never thought about it, but your right, LEONIDUS IS COOL!!!!! have you seen 300, real gory movie, but cool, Imrahil should definatly have A LOT of leadership, because he's, like, known for his leadership, sorry to interupt the imrahil thing, but dont you think that the reskining of the orcs is WAY better than the first, IM SO HAPPY BECAUSE NOW I CAN RIP COOL RESKINED ORCS APART WITH ELF WARRIORS!!!! they also did a lot of skins better, aka, its KIND OF cool that they reskined the gondorians so they had black leather, and then the plate heavy armour. i like possums . sorry, i have fits of randomness, anyways, I dont have BFME1!!! it got wrecked (i got it like, 2 years ago) I must buy it again! it wasn't very good, but i must buy iy for this.
Does anybody know if you can get this for rise of the witch king, somehow?

Alright. First off, just as a kind of unwritten rule, don't quote a post - especially large ones - that you are replying to if it is the post right before yours. Also, as a side note, try to cool down on the capitalized sentences.
Also, it's good that you like this mod. Great, actually. To answer your question, this mod will not be for rise of the witch king.
Canterbury's comment was just that your post was a bit intimidating.

Oh please, I know lots of people who do that... Anyway, to Guest: apart from my brief mention of Leonidas, did your post have any relevance to mine? I'm just kidding. Well, I'm glad that you like the mod...............quite a lot, but yeah, if you keep posting about how great the mod is or how you just can't wait for the mod to come out, it's gonna get annoying. I mean we all can't wait, but we just have to, so there's nothing we can do about it. One thing you can do is give us ideas towards the mod, or try and guess what the mod's gonna include (like in our 'new hero powers' thread). Just giving you a few pointers. Other than that, welcome to Revora.Alright. First off, just as a kind of unwritten rule, don't quote a post - especially large ones - that you are replying to if it is the post right before yours.
