Blend in with your foot-units of course :p

But yeah landing seems pointless. If it was something that actually has a rider (i.e. fellbeast) it'd be understandable...

It's just very unrealistic for a bird to be in the air while it's not moving.

Yes well that's pretty much how it works in the game. It's also very unrealistic to have a zombie/thing riding a giant bat. I apologize if I sounded snappy.

I have a couple of questions concerning the voice scripts for the new units.

*How are they coming along?

*And have you thought about some new ones?

And please don't take it as "hassling".

I've got an idea about the Fountain Guards(Tower Guards in BFME). Since they are said to be
"The silent, unmoving and ever watchful sentinels of Minas Tirith’s 7th level, the Guard of the Fountain Court are an intimidating elite order of a sole specific duty: to protect the White Tree of Gondor"(from the mod's info), won't it be better for The Guards of the Fountain Court to be stationary units which the player cannot control but will attack anyone who moves too close to the citadel (like Cirdan from the Elven Alliance Mod)?

They may well be :shiftee: Bear in mind I still consider the TG and FG seperate units as well.

I like the idea of Fountain guards protecting the citadel, but they will still be a battlefield unit of course.

And how are you so sure of that?

They may well be :thumbsupsmiley: Bear in mind I still consider the TG and FG seperate units as well.

By that do you mean that there may be some of them that are stationed in the citadel, and are labeled citadel guards, and the ones you can create are called tower guards?

What about Guards of the Fountain Court being available as an upgrade to the defenses, purchased from the Citadel? And, speaking of the Fountain, could there be something reminiscent of it in the Gondor Castle, in front of the Citadel?

From what I know the Guards of the Fountain Court have a leadership bonus. That's the only power/ability they get.

Well if any of you guys bothered to read...

Citadel

Available at the Stoneworker
Allows the construction of wall upgrades, and stations guards.

Outer stronghold prone to repeating attacks are usually reinforced more heavily. The best of what Gondor has to offer turns a mild hold into an intimidating citadel, prompting an attacking force to think twice.

And I consider the Tower Guard with their large tower shields to be a seperate unit to the fountain court guard with their 2 handed spears.

Fair enough, but the differences you've marked between Tower Guard and Guard of the Fountain Court aren't gonna be included, are they? Because I can't see them in the faction pages. And anyway, I don't remember seeing any mentions of the Tower Guard in the books, unless I overlooked it (which, seeing how many times I've done it before, is likely).
