A lot of that stuff is in, plus a few more revolutionary things. And a lot of general tweaks to make storming a castle as or more effective than bombardment.

And those things are?

I think walls should be really strong (almost impossible to destroy them), also I think that there should be different types of walls (gondor walls should be toughter than rohan's walls but not as strong as the wall of the dwarfs)

The Dale faction also have walls, but the Dale faction have very similar design style to Rohan, so whose wall is gonna be stronger?

About the dwarves, you know they have no cavalry, perhaps they could have some form of very strong melee unit similar to cavalry, but can't trample enemies of course, or they could have chariots.

I would imagine Dale's walls would be stronger as they may have been helped by the dwarves, plus they are better archers than Rohan IMO so there defences should be good too.

I agree It should be like this:

Dwarves > Gondor > Dale > Rohan > Elves(They have walls???)

Chariots for the dwarves?? No please, look ak B4ME 2 that stupid chariot is terrible.

I think an angry group of dwarves is enought to crush any orc, uruk hai or evil men, even cavalry

Well thats a rich reply (NOT!) to a good suggestion, besides obviously it wouldn't look anything like BFME II's dwarven chariot.

Thank you.

On the subject, can anyone specify what kind of defenses the dwarves will have? I mean, I know they have a really good defense, but they can't really copy Gondor with trebuches. So is there anything in particular the team is willing to reveal?

Question: Will rams have new anims? I found it lame how the ram crew would just swing the ram while standing. They should have backed off and then charged the gate and backed off and charged and so on.

Did no one take the Dwarven chariot seriously? :p. I based the idea on the fact that Dwarves were not only great smiths but also ingenius craftsmen, and thats were I got the idea from, not a silly rhino pulled wagon. I didn't think you guys were gonna be so damn sensetive about it.

And Alsch about dwarven defenses. It seems that they have no form of seige weapons in the erebor faction alone, but in the Iron Hills minifaction they have the mangonel, something that looks considerably better than the rediculous double-projectile catapult from BFME II. Its probably also used in the Dwarven castle's defenses, it seems to be the only form of siege Erebor can utilize as far as I have researched. You can veiw it on the original forums.

no cavalry or chariots or anything like this for dwarves. do you think that if they have some kind of fast transport that Dain and dwarfs would run from Iron Hills to Erebor? i think that if there was some faster transport than they would use at this situation but apparently they didnt have anything faster :p thats good reason for me.

Well is a fact that the dwarves don't like cavalry and also they can't use cavalry in a good way (They are too heavy to mount a pony and too small to mount a horse, besides their main weapon is the axe, a very big axe and that is a weapon for foot combat)

I know they are craftsmen but they seem to be a race more oriented to front to front combat (Just look how Gimli jumps to every enemy he seens even if there are many of them)

As for the defense I think the dwarves would use what they like most...rocks, catapults or another rock launcher form of defense and of course Axe Throwers

Dwarves didn't use horses...at all, thus the only options for a chariot would be pony/rhino driven. Ponies would be useless as they'd be too slow, whereas rhinos...well it's not even worth mentioning them :p

I wouldn't be so sure about axe throwing towers, the team will stick to archery.

Agreed. Having mobile infantry that throw axes is one thing, but a tower? That's just too much.

That's a common misconception, fed by BFMEII's dwarven faction. Dwarves were great smiths and in that great craftsmen, but you appear to believe they were also incredible at making machines and what-not. That's not the case.

I agree with Matias, these dwarves aren't realy the brilliant inventors from Warhammer or Warcraft (hence the fact why LOTR dwarves don't have rifles :p

Not an axe throwing tower,I was talking about units throwing axes to the enemys from the walls (at least to an enemy stupid enougth to be close enough to a dwarf with a small axe)
