There will be no weird dwarven stuff. May Nertea destroy all those who suggest such weirdness.
QFT. There will hopefully be interesting dwarf stuff though, that will be sufficently different from other factions'.
I really don't do requests and my Arnor Soldier is not fit for BFME. Don't ask me for either.

I don't like the idea of a large dwarven cavalry unit, but couldn't there be a mounted scout unit of some kind.
There will be nó dwarven cavalry.
No dwarves on horses, no dwarves on devices pulled by horses, no dwarves pulled by horses, no dwarves pulling horses, no horses on dwarves.
None.

It's very likely that the team have done something like that. I'm hoping they have.Question: Will rams have new anims? I found it lame how the ram crew would just swing the ram while standing. They should have backed off and then charged the gate and backed off and charged and so on.
Dwarven cavalry, bleh, I hate the very idea of it (no offense Uruk King, I'm just stating my opinion ). I can stomach a 'berserker' Dwarven unit that just crushes everything in it's path (take Gimli's Leap for example), but Dwarves riding things were not a common sight in Middle-Earth. As for the Dwarven defenses; I'm guessing an Arrow Tower, a type of catapult on the walls (seeing as the mangonel is from the Iron Hills, a mini-faction), hopefully something like boiling oil at the gates. I really liked the boiling oil idea from EALA, and I'm hoping it can be incorperated here.Did no one take the Dwarven chariot seriously? . I based the idea on the fact that Dwarves were not only great smiths but also ingenius craftsmen, and thats were I got the idea from, not a silly rhino pulled wagon. I didn't think you guys were gonna be so damn sensetive about it.Thank you.
On the subject, can anyone specify what kind of defenses the dwarves will have? I mean, I know they have a really good defense, but they can't really copy Gondor with trebuches. So is there anything in particular the team is willing to reveal?
And Alsch about dwarven defenses. It seems that they have no form of seige weapons in the erebor faction alone, but in the Iron Hills minifaction they have the mangonel, something that looks considerably better than the rediculous double-projectile catapult from BFME II. Its probably also used in the Dwarven castle's defenses, it seems to be the only form of siege Erebor can utilize as far as I have researched. You can veiw it on the original forums.
True. Very true.no cavalry or chariots or anything like this for dwarves. do you think that if they have some kind of fast transport that Dain and dwarfs would run from Iron Hills to Erebor? i think that if there was some faster transport than they would use at this situation but apparently they didnt have anything faster thats good reason for me.
Axe-throwers was another stupid thing done by EALA in my opinion. It's hard for me to justify a Dwarf with a perpetual stream of axes thrown at the enemy. I'd rather see Dwarves with longbows than that. Not an axe throwing tower,I was talking about units throwing axes to the enemys from the walls (at least to an enemy stupid enougth to be close enough to a dwarf with a small axe)
My guess is they're gonna have a battering ram as well. That's all I can think of for the Dwarves, unless it's some other type of ballistic machine from the main-faction.Does the Erebor faction have any form fo seige weapons apart from Magonels? Cus if there isn't how are they gonna lay seige to faction with walls

edit: oh, and do I smell a huge armor bonus against arrows? Since the dwarves won't be able to catch up with cavalry, so if they'd die by a Rohirric arrow... well, Rohan for the hit'n'run tactics....

There's been a recent epidemic of really weird (and kind of questionable) ideas lately, and I guess I was still paranoid.

Dwarves summoning Smaug. Yeah, I think the Dwarves will be resistant to arrows by default, and will have some help from their unique formations, hopefully.well... they should have something besides that mangoel'mispelled thingy, since there's gonna be maps without MF plots.... if it's a Summon the dead dragon Smaug or somthing like that, whatever, they should have something to break the enemy, without Iron Hills....
