I gotta say Rad, I'm really disappointed with the new beta. Its full of bugs, lots of bugs from the previous betas are still in their. Most powers have the "Does something" description. Um and this was just with the rohan faction, not to be rude or anything and if this sounds like a flame post its not, but did you even test this before you released it? I guess to help out I should post all the bugs I found. Will do that tomorrow if I have time. And I'm kinda disappointed the skins still look terrible :p This sounds mean but some of the EA skins are look better than what some of the units skins are. I know I can't skin for shit but you should atleast try to improve on them.

they are very cool now, they are heavily scripted and are identical to the BFME2 missions! :p

I checked them out.

It seems to me it's just a mass of units, perhaps put some thought into how the battle would play out.
Starting with a smaller amount of unit then gaining additional units through reinforcements or the old fashioned way.

Fredius, where can i download your Bree and Hollins Gate Maps?

Here are some of my thoughts about your maps:

Blue Mountains: I was able to kill the dragon from outside of the cave with a catapult.

Mithlond: the city was too empty. It could use some more buildings.

Erebor: I thought this was better then EA's map. The soldiers of Rhun were difficult to kill. They almost wiped me out.

However, I still stand by my previous comment.

I think you've lost a little of the battalion/horde feel there. I mean, the orc horde is in ordered, regimented lines, whilst the elves are in a loose horde :p I won't comment about whether bigger hordes are a good thing or not, as that really comes down to CP/lag/buildcost/buildtime/balance etc. Though i definitely think it'd be better if good battalions were 2 rows of 5, rather than the 3-4-3 thing you've got going at the moment ;)

At the moment I'm using templates to code them in.
Once all of them are in i'm going to tweak their positions.
Luckily other controversial changes have inadvertently helped balance the bigger hordes such as tougher structure armour, bigger structure arrow damage and various other tweaks.
Also some of the smaller hordes have also doubled like GilGalad Guards.
On top of this Trolls will be cheaper and some other balance and code changes will be implemented.

Overall the bigger hordes to give the game a bigger more grand feel, the way BFME should have had.
One of my aims is to recreated the scale and epicness of the movies.

I have a couple other things in the works that will go in hand with this.

This mod is not an add faction type mod it is a large scale mod in the truest sense of the word.

I don't mind bigger hordes at all.
However, I really hope you optimize the textures and models when you decide to double the hordes, as to keep lag in check ;)

btw, is it just me, or is 11 Gondor Fighters weird in a horde? :p
