Ah, I was hoping you would be more creative, since you now have more units :p

When you have hordes of 30+ units there's a lot to tweak :p
I'll have a look at it maybe I'll make the Orc combo horde a bit more random.

The quarrel stuff looks much cooler with the larger hordes.

The orcs seem a little too organized :crazed:, all in all, NICE. Would be cool if the formations looked different from unit to unit or faction to factions. e.g Rangers and scout units don't stand in straight formations but move more in a way that adapts to the nature to their own advantage, or like the uruk-hai are packed together and move in a heavy march, you know what I'm saying.

Actually its 10

This time I counted 9... Go figure :crazed:

And about orcs being to uniform.. Well, remember the Siege of Minas Tirith? They're lined up pretty well in the movies :p

This time I counted 9... Go figure :good:

And about orcs being to uniform.. Well, remember the Siege of Minas Tirith? They're lined up pretty well in the movies

They were also being commanded by various lieutenants and captains and stuff. Higher rank orcs to keep them in line and such. Though when the orcs are just running around at will slaughtering random men. I doubt they would be in much of a formation.

Hmmm... ideas. I might snag this idea for myself  (not your idea of bigger hordes)

Also by increasing the melee release distance

I have an update on things.
At the moment I am PC is down and the main harddrive my have been has lost.
Most of my recent work has been done on my laptop and most of my mod stuff has been backed up from a couple weeks ago.
So it's not a complete tragedy this ordeal does mean I have to set up my laptop as my main modding computer for a while and I may have lost most of my maps.
So I'm going to try and recover the harddrive and get my PC up and running.

In other news I'm working on a little something for LW which with any luck I'll reveal sometime in the next couple weeks.

I suggest that you buy an external drive or that you split your hdd in sections, windows in a separate part - to avoid these setbacks

OK I have a small bit of news,I have not stopped working on LW but have been working on lots of smaller things here and there.

I've added AI to the following maps-
Crossroads
Dead Marshes (Tweaked a few aesthetic things as well)
Cair Andros
Belfalas

with tweaks to a couple campaign maps-
Evil Amon Hen
Good Lothlorien
Good Osgiliath

I've also made some changes and additions to the AI to improve them a bit so they function better I'll also be working on improving the Hard AI to be tougher.

A double post to celebrate my return :)

I have not been resting on my hands in my absence (they tend to go numb when I do) and I've been
doing little bits and pieces here and there.

I've made 3 new sets of rocks for mappers out there Ice,Snow and Sand rocks to add more variety to maps.
I've been toying with some of the new Erebor units such as the Defenders and Arbalests but you'll have to wait to see them.
Aside from that it's various code and map things here and there.
I'll probably post some screens and stuff too while I'm at it.
