about the Lone Wolf mod. can you tell me what I have done wrong? I keep getting the message: do not find fxlist_lightinghitsaruman add the fxlist or remove the reference to it. I have installed the 1.03 patch and keep getting the message. and by the way, your mod seems perfect.

thanks for the help. it's working. and as I wrote, it is perfect:)

Since I'm back at work on the mod after a short break.
I'll be posting more updates and getting closer to the next beta.

I've created a new post detailing some balance changes being implemented as well as updating the Change list in the first post.
If there's a bug or balance issue you would like to see addressed be sure to let me know and I will fix it (if it's not a deliberate choice).
With a large and expanding project like Lone Wolf it's easy to over look things so it helps to be reminded of things.

http://forums.revora...04-change-list/

I'm also currently working on an updater for the mod when it's finished I'll be posting smaller more frequent updates via patches in the future.
Instead of redownloading the entire mod each time.

If it's done before the beta I'll be posting a mini update with bug fixes and balance changes.

As you guys may have noticed I've been pretty quiet these last few weeks, quiet but not inactive.
The last week or so I've been busy with RL stuff but I've been doing some work here and there reworking textures and models, adding in more map stuff and reworking a couple of the maps as well as starting a couple more.

I'm currently reworking the Rushock Bog,Misty Mountains,Weather Hills maps as well as working on the new Forlindon,Ost-in-Edhil,Plains of Gorgoroth and Swanfleet maps.
I've also made a few new dwarven props.
Sometime in the next couple days I should have a couple teaser videos up on youtube showing off some of the other scenes from the Shell map.

I really could use those dwarvenprops for my erebor map :good:, im also reworking my old maps, some even for 100% (my old mithlond, blue mountains and erebor maps suck if its about quality), im also making new maps like celduin and a mirkwood mission (hunt for Broodmother :good:. Currently the maps that are done are Dol Guldur and Blue Mountains. I'm now working on celduin. But since my PC crashed i have to wait till i can go on mapping again (dont worry, i still have my maps ;) )

Just remember to take your time, attention to detail goes a long way in creating great maps.
Something I've been doing more lately.

So I finally got off my ass and onto Dreamweaver so hopefully soon there'll be a new Lone Wolf site soon.
I've had to start from scratch since the version I was working on was lost last year, this new version should be better.
I've got an improved gallery in the works and a tooltip system.
Somewhat similar to this (Mouse over the dagger to see what I mean).

I think Lone Wolf mod is very original , because you're adding lots of action but you're laso make the game a lot more funnier and realistic with that ! so I'm really eager what we 'll see next !

I think the unit name can be as it is, with the font and all, but the rest of the text should be a regular font and aligned to the left.
Maybe colour the structure it's buildt from so it's glans'y?

Ok still not internet and the updates waiting.
So I'll update on the website a little.
The website is coming along very nicely and isn't too far off of being finished.
It may even be done before my net is back up.
Most of the faction and various pages have been done, including the tooltips.
Just 4 more factions and the galleries to go.

Btw, not sure if this is of any help to you, but if you have a laptop, you can bring it to a library and use the internet there, you know if it's an emergency :p

A funny thing is that I regularly use it for bigger uploads :wink_new:

I usually speak with the librarian early in the morning, if it's ok to leave it in the reception ( so it doesn't get stolen ). Then I drop by next day to pick it up, as it sometimes requires leaving it overnight. My internet is quite slow when it comes to uploading( files over 500mb ), ( it's usually quite fast when it comes to downloading and gaming ect. ) - Saves power (energy bills ;) ) and let's me focus on other stuff.

But then again this is Sweden :cool2:

I neeed assistance, i just downloaded the mod, and wwant to play it desperately!! But when i downloaded it, i cut the files and copied them into my BFME file assuming that was the right thing to do considering you gave no instructions as to installing the game. But i started the game using normal icon, as a new one was not made, and nothing new happened! Please, please help!
