well rohan hasnt been really worked on, cept of Nert's Rohan obsession long time back...but from the discoussion in staff forums i think that there will be changes to to those heroes. i remember that we discouss overal boost for Eomer, some sort of blade master power. Theoden should get some personal guard etc. i think that it will be the same as changes to the gondor and mordor heroes :)

In other words big, exciting changes. :)

Are the hero powers for Mordor, Gondor and Mirkwood done already? The factions are supposed to be complete, but the hero renders still show question marks...
Am I Belgian or Flemish? Hmm, me thinks I'll just stick to European...

All done I think. They may have either not been decided when the renders were being done or the buttons hadn't been made. Either way it's too much hassle to change all the renders.

Can we hear about what they are, or would that be a staff secret?

The thing about that is, I'm not sure I want to know all of their powers until I play the mod. It will really take away some more of the excitement if we know everything about the mod before we actually have it. Think about when you buy a new game (which I haven't actually done since, well I'm not even sure anymore), you don't know every last thing about the game or you wouldn't buy it would you? I think we'd still all download RA even if we did know everything, but personally it's a bit more exciting to keep guessing and checking back for small updates at a time. Plus, what would that leave us, the forum members, to talk about? THat's just my opinion, I just wish i got to see how close the final project was to being finished, but that's just my ignorant side speaking.

That's true that there should be some suprise in the mod, and trying to figure them out does seem to take the suprise out of it.

To me being surprised by hints and and updates before the mod is out is just as good as being surprised when the mod comes out. Plus I find it fun to really think about how things are gonna be and even start coming up with strategies and cool plans.

Stop asking that, you're only getting on people's nerves. You didn't get a response from staff the first time, you won't now.

To kennethain: the good thing about the RA is that even if we do find out about all the new powers and units and heroes and what not, that's only about half of what's included in the mod. Your forgetting about the new systems and strategies and all those other subtle things that can't always be described with words, such as the new ambush system. Don't worry, there should be plenty of surprises in store.

It doesn't matter if you know about all the details or not. You will still be surprised when you see how it will all come together. I am sure, the first times you will play the mod, you won't have much time to grasp all the details anyway.

I used to be bewildered with one of the Nazgul's powers (the third one, next to the leadership icon), but I think I have it figured:

Servants of the Eye - Anti-leadership, removing enemy leadership, and lose damage and armour.

It's obviously a long time since I tried to deduce the abilities of heros, I sort of felt like it. It's known that Nazgul weren't the best swordmen in Middle Earth, (except Khamul and The Witch-King), so they're best used as support heroes.

I didn't know that the Witch-King and Khamul were the best swordmen in Middle Earth either... And I'm positive on that they aren't either, and I also don't think that they are alot better than the others, but perhaps a litte, yeah..
