Ah but theres no Yuris in my mod just the 3rd side But we'll leave that to another day cause I had another mod Idea though its still in the worksas for the pre RS teams they've been given newer units and weapons so they may prove a fight

well brutes can take a couple more bullets then your normal infantry and would heal prety fast -imagines a Hulk- the genetic technologies of yuris forces would be much more advanced in the robot storm age.

They'd be outtanked at every tech tier. And they'd have no counter for Osiris. Just...none. And don't get me started on the NEXUS pwnage - hax0r their tankx and ZOMGWTFLAZER everything else. The whole world'd be about 40 different shades of fucked up.

Tournament skirmish mode mayby?i think it can be done as one of them multiplayer campaighns kinda thing,I think it would be very interesting to play that kinda thing especialy if its scripted maps that enhance ai beyond just brutal difficalty. a second opinion from somone who knows if its even possible to do so with RA2 and all its limitations would be nice

I love this mod and play it quite often but havent posted on the forum before.
This mod is one of the best out there. The 2.0 release seems even more promising.
So i watched the preview videos. Everything is amazing but there is just a very small change about NEXUS laser that worried me.
The new visual effect of laser hitting its target seems to be too large. The old explosion was fine and looked powerful. The new one, especially the one made by the siege walker looked like a big red disk in the video....I understand it's changed to make laser hits more visible and different but thats like overdoing it.
I dont know if it is fair to judge its look by a rather low-res video. And of course if the developers and players like this new disign more, i'll have no objections. I really like to know how you guys think about it. I personally would like it yo be changed, the original effect in 1.99 was fine.

For example, at 2:40 of the Allied Legion Preview the single Cent came into the scene and started shooting. Dont u think that red circular effect as big as the Cent itself is a bit too much?
Same applies to the defensive laser turrets, ripper etc.
To me, that's too exaggerated.
EDIT: I think the Cent's laser already looked very powerful in 1.99, i loved it when i blasted a bunch of tanks and infantry in one shot.
