LMAO, do u really think someone is going to go through 70 or so posts to sum it all up for peaple? If peaple want to know whats been talked about then they should skim over it themselfs.... that why they are posts and remain on the server so peaple can read them.

someone should go through the post, and just make a list of everything that's been suggessted just to see where we are....i might do that if i have time...

that would be cool, but keep in mind, it would be a HUGE list. Both the Contra suggestions and the Remix suggestsions are over 70 pages each

Between now and the next polished release there should be very little new art work done. Instead the focus is on designing, testing, and fixing. the mod has always been so close to finished that its nearly criminal. I'd love to see this through to the end with a real community effort.

How about a trainable UltraLight aircraft for the Stealth General?

It's stealthy when on the ground and it can't attack. Its takeoff and landing behavior is like Creator's crop duster. You can load different infantry up like on a bike. When Terrorist is loaded, it can do kamikaze.

How about a radar building for GLA but it looks like a stationary hot air baloon?

Why?
U hve radar vans, granted i think they could be better, slightly bigger detection area cos imo they seem low area cover, and maded stealthed. This way they will seem to be more useful and only only used to show the map, u be able to use them like chinas spy trucks

in remix some USA and China's have this. its a good idea for gla too

No it wouldn't be.
It would have a bigger sight range. It makes sense.
Besides GLA has one of the Weakest Radar systems in the game.
Even if this was only for one side it would be an extreme improvement.

I already said ages ago that the gla rada van should have a bigger sight range and be stealthed when not moving.
I said that the us radar vans should be stealthed when not moving as well and pend changed it so they was, NOW there beautiful vehicals just like chinas radar trucks. So basicly if the gla gets the same treatment then you can have a nice radar cover and spy vehical in one.

Maybe make it so teh gla start with a radar truck already? but thats not a big deal.

GLA radar van usually has useful secondary effects, like the Radar scan, gap generator or anti radar missiles. Stealth general can of course have a radar van that never reveals itself even when moving. I don't see the point in changing the GLA radar vans effect, but admittedly I only play stealth general. :thumbsupsmiley:

Gap generator effect and anti radar missile is not in contra/remix right?
I am sure that was in another mod, not played gla in ages so can't remember.
But anyways my opion is it needs to be stealthed while not moving and have a slightly bigger sight range, if that happens it will be a very nice effective radar.

I know Gap Generator is in contra.
I'm not sure about anti-radar missiles though.
That could be PR.
But the gap generator has a big problem.
(It basically shows where your radar van is because it "draws" the black on the map)

At first, Gap Generator in Contra is the upgrade. If you don't want to use it then just don't research it.

At second, gap generator does not reveal its position if it moves inside previously blackened area.

And one more thing - you can't fire super weapons at blackened areas.

But if u was to use sat hack 2 or cia intel hack or spy drown on the area the gap is would it uncover it?
Because it should imo if only for a short time, or else the gla couyld put meny of them around there base making them immune to sw's and if u can't oncover there area u can't use an air strike on them as u can't find them to target. Also would only make ground assult possable, it adds way to meny limitations to every other side if u can't reveil a gap area for a short time.
This even more worse if you are playing sw gen where your whole fighting side is built around sw's and ther eattack force is pretty lame, without there sw's and auroas being able to be used effevtively then her ground attack would fail and her only means of really putting up a fight (sw and auroas) are than made useless.

Yes you can send planes in.
Send a plane to the edge of the black. then as it's sight
reveals the area you fire your SW while the plane is scouting for you.
It's strategy Phoenix. Strategy.
And SW has the aurora beta so it's fast enough to get in, get out.
and get on with life.

speaking of the Auroras, did the creater fixed the speed of the Auroras so the anti air weapons is immune to them?

Yes. He fixed the "SneakyOffset" of the Auroras.
They are fixed for both Remix3 and Contra 5.
