Not if the tunnel exit is under the building, since mauraders would be kept in the tunnel network, not actually in the building.

I just don't believe that... Garisoning isn't just running in and using windows for cover. Notice even the models in game become fortified. They all have Consentina wire, Barakades, sandbags... This is a reminder that the scale and time in ZH are not representations of 1to1 against real life. If you ever taken the time to entrench in real life you know that its not a fast or simple process. theres lots of examiniation and planning invovled. You don't "Not Notice" the building has a hollow floor or that the basement has wooden walls... not to mention, how do you get a tank out of a building like that. tanks are not known for thier vertical manuverability if you get my drift. Some things are hard to Hide, and the tunnels and means to move armor in and out are especialy hard to hide.

And its still not possible inside the game engine beyond changing the way it looks to the enemy.

Between now and the next polished release there should be very little new art work done. Instead the focus is on designing, testing, and fixing. the mod has always been so close to finished that its nearly criminal. I'd love to see this through to the end with a real community effort.

This mod is the Best. This is the best mod I've ever seen. Congratulations, CnC generals should look like this mod. By the way i would like to suggest one thing that would make game more realistic. Could You do the ai could rebuild a HQ after its destroyed. I think thats a major bug of generals. If ai could rebuild its HQ the game would be better, trust me :p

p.s.
Make ai more difficult. This ai is allready good but it would be better :p

Ai wont ever be amazingly hard u have to remember it can not learn nore adapt to whats going on all it can do is follow the orders of it coding and that is build and attack.
U can make it smarter but again once u played it u will know the computers tactic and then u will adapt and then it becomes easy again.

and i do agree computer should be able to rebuild it command center that would be agood thing.

Garrisons: The US military could probably set up a garrison pretty quick. They're very well disciplined and practice until they get it right about 100 times in a row in a mock-up before they go in.

The wall of the basement doesn't have to be wood, a tank could probably steamroll right through a brick wall.

that stuff that enemies cant garison your buildings isnt right.
if u play infantry vs infantry gen u can garison his powerplants so it could be posible

I realy like that Mod, but there are some Things that I personaly don´t like.

First there is the thing, that you need to be promoted before you get the strong units. Normaly, the Game is over before I could even see the super-units :DE016:

And equal how you change the Gameplay, the Cybernetics-General iss too weak, or at least his starting-units are...

Cyber gen is not weak his units in groups can be a big thorn in ones side.
And leveling up go and attack then with small waves letting them stay alive but always be a thorn. U level faster on the attack.

I love this mod and give a big thanks to the creators but you shoudld add a bit more realism
for eg no infantry can survive getting shot at by a tank 10 times :unsure:

I agree it does look funny in game. Its supposed to be that the tank is missing the infantry man with 9 of those 10 shots, but it tends to be a little over the top. I think it would be much more realistic to make the infantry take instant death damage from any AP weapon, but make the blast radius on the tank shell so small that the scatter makes it so only 1 in 10 shots will hit... but this has lots of effects on balance... I'm reluctant to go overboard on balance changes of that nature.

making infantry die soo easly would easly over power tanks agest the infantry general and it would be damn near impossable to charge a tank squad and live

I edited te file to make infantry die with 1hit kills but you can still destroy tanks using the atg operators

The optioin I suggested would still work fine, increase the scatter of the tank shell, reduce the damage radius down to "1" and change the armor resistances for infantry... Now, they will die in one hit IF they are hit. if a shell is fired into a group, its likely one troop will die, but probobly not the one who was tageted. I still might take 10 shots to hit a guy.

In the long run what it would do is almost no wounded infantry, just dead or alive... almost more realistic... you don't see guys with 1% life limping into battle with 2 broken legs still shooting thier SAW or firing M-203s

dont make infantry die faster i like the way it took 10 shot to die.whats the used of rocket soldier it is my tank rush counter bec. imake def. only when i finished the rush rocket soldier make solid in rush bec. support of your tank and the enemy forcing to buid anti infantry units. i like them to penetrate the base defenses unless that your enemy is china,toxin,laser. if you like realism why the rocket soldier can destroy jets or any aa units in reality no one can stop any us jets bec. is fly to high

i think infantry is fine i don't see how making 1 hit kill on infantry keeps think balanced on every mod i have played where they die with one hit the infantry gen is like signing your own death certifiacut(sp)

hmmmm the line is very thin.....

the choice is up to the modder, both things might happen, if you choose BALANCE, then the modder dont have to do alot of changes
I he chooses the REALLITY, then he has alot of work to do... make the tanks really costly, REALLY ! and tanks should be very good... infantry die with 1-2 shells e.t.c.

It can be doen but it needs over than 1 month just for balancing, but if it is done then............... :blush:
