Do you think it would be better if things like the tech reinforcement pad and the america supply drop got there drop off's with copters from above instead of planes that wonder into enemy territory after and get shot down?

just the sound off unit lost over and over from those things are getting annoying :lol:

bad idea i always use those herculese plans as a diversion for my own planes and troop drops

Hey! I got an idea, there is a skin for the commanche that will change it to an Orca like C&C. Change the moddel, & make it low level aircraft like a hover tank & give it to Air General in replacement of his tanks. :ohmy:

sounds good but i think it eeds also a tank turret or something like that (like the tank gen helix but single barreld)

a nice thing..
i've only seen it in shockwave, but it is in zero hour already, but not all time..
that i'm talking about is when you using artillery - there comming a sound.. you know uh, like when the shells are comming from the sky.. like the chinese artillery shell shooting (from generals point) there comming this "artillery sound" and that sounds great..
could be nice if that also was in the mod :p

I think that AI sould be easy I can't beat a easy army without help id play more if they made them easier :)

The mod is good but AI is WAY to smart i think easy sould be easier as for the other armies i don't care :)

the AI is always surrendering on me but not your downloaded version.

i like when AI are easy in fact i can destroy them easily :p

my idea for the skirmish ai:
make (if possible) the 3 types of ai (easy, normal and hard) to turtle (focusses on defence) spread (takes more tech buildings and expandes base) and offencive (just attacks almost nonstop with always beter units than before)


Thats an interesting idea. I like the idea of AI styles varying in more than just dificulty. the Easy Medium Hard Buttons could even be replaced with Tuttle, Rush, or Insain AI types.


Scuds should have unlimited range.

This mod is the Best. This is the best mod I've ever seen. Congratulations, CnC generals should look like this mod. By the way i would like to suggest one thing that would make game more realistic. Could You do the ai could rebuild a HQ after its destroyed. I think thats a major bug of generals. If ai could rebuild its HQ the game would be better, trust me :)

p.s.
Make ai more difficult. This ai is allready good but it would be better :p

you stink better ai are you crazy!!!! and i ALSO think that Project Raptor and Shock wave is better because of the easier ai ha ha ha you are CRAZY!!!! :laugh: :p :)

I know the easy AI is more chalenging than most AI out there, but most of us REALLY want it tougher. A single Hard AI is just not nearly enough action to keep some of us happy... infact, sometimes 2 hard AI isn't enough... for me it depends on what general I'm playing as.

I'm much more partial to the idea of playstyle AIs... if you are a slow builder, then a Turrtle AI would be much easier than a rush army... if you are a rush player, you don't want to fight a strong turrtle

For those of us wanting a real punishment, we get the last option,an army that gets the best of both.

It wouldn't be dumbed down AI, but it would atleast be more customizable.

Also, if you find the AI to hard to play against, try giving yourself allies to help until you are better.



I'm not going to dumb the game down for the benifit of a couple players

Between now and the next polished release there should be very little new art work done. Instead the focus is on designing, testing, and fixing. the mod has always been so close to finished that its nearly criminal. I'd love to see this through to the end with a real community effort.

Hey Guys could you help me?



I was wanting to put some new units from fritz mod & additional units & I put the stuff in the right places but it wont work. :( (the flame tank has 3 turrets, no light tank or destroyer, it just simpily not showing everything. ) It did the same all other units I wanted, ( like the Phlanix Paliden tank) all except the one where you can change the commanche into an orca please help! Im going crazy with this!!!!!!!!! :p

I may not be a good general, but the AI uses a boat load of Artillery units, & they seem that they have a longer range than me. I was the same general (The Nuke, :thumbsup: ) the AI shot infernos at me but i thought i would be in range ,but my units had to move closer to fire. We both had no upgrades to. whats the dillio? :p

probably that u had ur units on defence , than they dont have theyr max rangeso they won't be overpowerig on defence (i thingk thats just rubish)

for cyber general :lol:



now some ideas :
superweapon general.... a stealth truck that when it is deployed all the surrounding structures or units are stealth cloaked

laser general....frost tank a tank that launches a white beam that acts the same as the neutron shells (really cooooooooooooooooooool idea)

pendaelose pls say your opinion about these..so i can keep posting more :p

what about a mutant upgrade for toxin general (level 5) witch makes infantry stronger touugher and so imune for toxins and even heals them

i think with the robo genaral you should remove the drone for infrantry and add a new unit he cyborg i also think that there is a problem with the AI coz on easy i get owned in my mind the ranking thing were you carnt build certan things till ou are a level or somth should be removed coz its anoyin the tecnition for the drone gen should use the hacker skin also the anti tank sniper ownes like the china defences! china needs more arcraft :p good mod have some ;) :p :p

i forgot the, war factory drop is a bit strange and the drop pods for USA, did you coppy the idear from Warhammer 40k? ;)

I made the drop pod code, Viator made the model.

The idea wasn't copied from 40K, Drop pod infantry is an idea that goes back to the 1950s, but the art style for the drop pod was loosly copied from the space marien pod, with many obvious changes.

Could there be an option so level 5 tech is avalible from the start? :shiftee: I know the outcome's would be horrible...

Btw:

ultra super units that cost $100000 each? like huge, slow, base sized behemoths that take so much to destroy? and having a uniqe one for each side would be so overkill.... very generic idea, but who wouldnt love this one unit fighting away at a army single handed? :p

For the Radar Van for stealth, could you fix the aI so it can't see your base nor able to attak it, if you have the gap upgrade? If so, why not make an gap generator base defence? :dry:
