overlord tank dose fire kinda slow for a tank with 2 barrels but it is already powerful enough. nd the sand wraith rate of fire down? humm i think it slow enough i think maybe lowing the range would be more appealing.

Tank general is not Overlord based. He is tank based. He has Battle Masters, Gattling and Dragon tanks as basic tank force in the begining and Overlord based tank force in later game.(Last reply, ) since the tank general is Overlord-based, can you turn the war master into a doubled barreled tank? it would still have the same or little more damage firepower & same fire rate, I thought it would make more sense. For overlords, could you have them upgrade with autoloaders so the can fire both barrels at the same time, or in a chain? (for example: Barrel 1 fire, barrel 2, 1, 2, 1, 2, 1, 2 with no reload pause.) tell me what you think.

one thing that i find not so good is how the new units are aviable with the generals rank, it could be possible to "jump" from one tree tech to another with a overall upgrade, more less like Age of Empires, i mean you start woth 0 tech tree, then in the command center you select "tech tree1) with a cost of 2000-2500 and a time of around 5-10 minutes, theng go to tech tree 2 cost 5000, and time of other 15 minutes until tech 3...in each tech tree there are diferent upgrades, and units, could be cool, what you thing??

Thats very similare to how I have it in Remix.
the mouse problem is a problem with the SAGE engine... not contra. You'll have to get help from EA games to make it work. don't tell them about the mod, or they'll blow you off, but trust me, its not the mod, its the engine.
Between now and the next polished release there should be very little new art work done. Instead the focus is on designing, testing, and fixing. the mod has always been so close to finished that its nearly criminal. I'd love to see this through to the end with a real community effort.

Holy **** u mean ppl actuly download small files to change there command bar ? gezz why would anyone waste there time on somthing that dose nothign for the gameplay, command abr is there simply for giving commands it dose not need to look sexy.

It was because I was bored of the original generals so I thought I can jazz it up by different skins, realistic sounds, THE COMMAND BAR!!! I accidentely saw it while looking for skins. Are you japanese or are you an anime freak?

Okay, I saw it in the loading screen, so I was woundering. Could you fix the aurora planes to be actually faster than missles and bullets on the attack run?

China Infantry General:
(pure infantry tactics)
1. Remove all tanks (apart from troop crawler)
2. Infantry are built in squads of ten
3. Rocket Infantry are built in squads of five
4. Light and cheap Helicopter to support the infantry.
5. Special infantry hero for China that give all surrounding infantry tougher firepower and march faster even if injured (think Commisar)
China Tank General:
(pure tank tactics)
1. Remove all infantry
2. Troop crawler is the only unit with infantry
3. Have special tank busting addons for MiGs and Helix
All GLA:
1. Black Market can use money to make placeable scrap piles that units can run over and get their upgrades instantly without having to shoot enemies first.
2. Light helicopter that has two addons; speakers to strenghten troops (like a propaganda tower), light rockets (anti-tank), chemical sprayer (raining anthrax!) but this copter would weak and can be shot down after a few shots.
3. Dr. Thrax's tank should be called "The Thraxinator"
All USA:
More of a superweapon of sorts than a building but how about War Prison. Build a maximum of five war prisons and each prison can hold a maximum of 15 men. Each man generates small amounts of money so when the prison is full you are generating a fair amount. To capture enemy infantry it would be like a template and you would highlight where the troops are then they are transported to the prison by a Chinook that takes off from the Prison and flies its way to the enemy. It can be shot down killing it and its occupants but if it returns the chinook unloads it contents. It would have a recharge time of about 3 mins and after the prison is full it can't capture any more enemy.
Cyber USA:
Not really realistic but I was thinking it reminds me of Terminator 3's; T1! Soldier of the future would be a tracked killing machine with two mini-guns and shiny metal body. To balance it out each T1 would require 1 power unit to power them since they are machines. Also when the Barracks/Factory is destroyed the T1 would die making it a more tactical for both the enemy and for the player.
Well just some ideas to put on the large pile.

Actually the Aurora's lost their invulnerability completly ie. they get shot down during an attack run all the time, at least when i use them anyway
It because many AA weapons use radius damage, and the attack offset isn't large enough to keep the aurora out of danger.
Creator, this bug is real... It can be fixed by doubling the "SneakyOffset"
Soviethybrid, some interesting ideas... some I like some I don't.... some are already in Remix (squads). A fresh flow of ideas is always welcome, I hope you post more

For Dr. Thrax, could you make the acid do more damage? Or, can you mix Acid & Anthrax together making a deadly substance.
Do you have an estimate on when Contra 5 is released? (june, july, august, ect.)

Thrax will have acid and anthrax mixture (but it will not be an upgrade), some weapons will spread both anthrax and acid around.
Release date will be somewhere in July.
