Couldn't it just look like a normal dozer only its a robot. Having a dozer thats Immune to tox and radiation would be awesome. It could be a unbalancing though.

You could modify it's wheels or something to make it look different. Maybe change its colours abit.

and the fact that GLA's worker is like the weakest unit in the game isn't unbalancing is it?
going thought all that work to just modify the wheels? It's hard to make models and stuff.
(and still make it look good) I'd say. for now just give the Dozer that whole "Beep Beep Boop"
stuff for a voice and work one some of the other sides. then after the next alpha (or maybe RELEASE!)
work on the small graphical changes.

No. that would suck.

A mech dozer is very possible and fits the style. I just have to get around to making it. After infantry China I might do it.

Robot general has some non robot units. And some non mech units. But he does have a mech bay as an aditional building and it makes a variety of units.

how about making all robot units have a range
when they get 2 far from their base they stop moving because the remote dont go that far
this will not effect robots on small maps but on big maps
it will also not affect planes
we could have a mobile command center 2 follow the robot into combat so they have farther range(like the supply truck in rise of nations)

tiker thats a VERY bad idea it would make the cyber general weak on big maps and any humen player could expliot that weakness heavily by making sure whatever building is a rely is not built and they woudl make sure to keep them dead.

Its not a bad idea, but it gets shot down by 3 things.

1. It would be a bitch to play with. you loose the command vehichle and a whole army shuts down. way too gimptastic

2. Why not just have autonimus robots? We already have basic AI now days and we're asuming these are more advanced.

3. the game engine is inflexable.

Also no a bad idea. I had once before mentioned the posibility of making the android able to walk underwater. I'll seriously consider it. An upgrade called something like "submersable systems"

Also a very valid option. Personaly I like the thaught of the android walking underwater. why wouldn't it? The very thaught of a robot that dies when water touches it is silly. Imagine a 10 million dollar super killing machine that can't fight in the rain or be used on ships. very silly, when a rubber under-skin would fix it.

Why not use both? Robot USA can have androids that walk underwater, while Laser gets the hovercraft transport.

No. Small craft almost all belong to the army. Allmost all amphibius units would belong to the Army and Marines.

That aside, branch disticntion doesn't mean anything to me. Generals WAY breaks any standards for branch disticntion. Every faction uses a multi-component force that covers units from all 4 major services.

To powerful to me I like a big DUCK landingcraft that has the ability to fire like a combat chinnook. (Not the animal duck! ;) ) This could have cool sea battle, & Island invasion battles! :)
