Ritly assult and toxin generals are being moved more towords a middle easten army while the stealth and demo more terrorest side while still keeping there uniqe gla feel.

Tarantula is scrapped and is being replaced with a different mammoth tank.
Between now and the next polished release there should be very little new art work done. Instead the focus is on designing, testing, and fixing. the mod has always been so close to finished that its nearly criminal. I'd love to see this through to the end with a real community effort.

I'm not sure what Creator is making for them. He asked me the other day to send him a copy of the old-style mammoth so he could edit it and use it for GLA. I sent him the old USA one he wanted, plus the one I use for Assault GLA. I'm not sure what he will use or what form it will take.
Between now and the next polished release there should be very little new art work done. Instead the focus is on designing, testing, and fixing. the mod has always been so close to finished that its nearly criminal. I'd love to see this through to the end with a real community effort.

not realy, compare the Mammoth to the Overlord... If anything the overlord is MORE advanced... especialy when considering the toys added in Contra and Remix.

I was joking and i don't think pend will add the old CnC mammath of the mk2 no matter how sweet it would be.

Old Mammoth was friggin awesome. I hope he bases it off of that more heavily. Maybe just give Thrax the Tarantula M Tank which is basically the Mammoth only with added Toxic shells and old fashioned missiles
On to the ideas, first I was thinking maybe replace the Fafnir robot that is used for AI gen with something a bit better. Perhaps maybe something along the lines of the AT AT of star wars. Something with 4 legs, and maybe have a underside mounted cannon for ground and pound and one on top for anti air. Like a spider look.
Firetornado Generater for Flame Gen. Basically it would be a missile that would fly(ala Nuke) and than when it lands it causes a massive wave of fire that bursts out(burns all infantry) than it comes backs and generates a tornado of fire that damages eveyrthing. It would grab units and send them flying around in it.

Also Flame has the Scorched Earth Arty.
Which unleashes a firestorm where the arty. hits.
so the Firetornado is kinda already there...
(oh and if they're burnt to a crisp.. Why would you want to throw them?)

I was talking about the Mammoth MK2 being to advance than generals era. But a 4 legged super tank in place of the Fafnir would be cool. 5th star general able to combat drop a MK2 like a general power would make more sence than manufacture something bigger than the building! USA must have something intimidating to all sides.

I do not know about contra but remix 3 has a mech factory now and the fafnar is not bigger than it, also remix has the assult spider and the siege spider mechs. Fafnar is a great mech and is not neeed to be replaced.

hi all!
a friend of mine doesn't want to play contra anymore since he heard that Nuke's Retaliator will become weaker. He couldn't defend his base properly without mighty Retaliator. I know Nuke should attack, but when game starts he needs some Defense. And every other China has 2 or even 3 Defenses. Now i have suggestion: Could u please add normal 5 Men Bunker to Nuke? He doesn't need the Artillery Battery, that would be too strong, but just normal Bunker?
